Great documentary, shows several different perspectives and personal hurdles. One is a pro and battling personal life issues and multiple DNFs, one is a pro and battling a head injury, one is an working amateur and battling work life balance and then one is an amateur and fighting old age. Man, what is your excuse?! After watching this I renewed my commitment to finish a sprint triathlon in late April! I think of George when I feel like quitting.
At 60 years of age, George is my greatest inspiration, but truly the stories of all four athletes are inspiring. Thank you for an excellent video.
Very well put together. Having this narrated by Optimus Prime was a bonus, very inspirational!
George made me cry 😭 what a champ!!!!
George you are a great inspiration! Well done, Sir!!
What a great watch. You guys are all awesome! Absolutely loved it.
Great video! All four athletes were inspiring. I’m a little older than George and only a runner but I know what he felt toward the end. At that point, just finishing is all that matters.
Great film
Anything is possible
Love the grit and determination in all these guys.
George you are my Hero !!
Makes me so emotional to see this. Good bit of motivation
Great documentary. That ending brought a tear to the eyes!
The beauty of Ironman.... one of the few sports where the struggle IS the reward for pros and regular folks... great documentary, so many untold stories like this out there!
Great film. Thanks for producing it. Awesome motivation.
Great documentary. An inspiration to all us newbie's. I liked the different genders and athletic backgrounds. George is an inspiration to keep going. I would love to be his age and still that athletic 💕
Thanks, great story & strong spirit. I really appreciate it!
Awesome film. Thank you for producing it.
George is a legend! respect
Agree, go-go George. So inspiring!
George is a major inspiration.
Thanks George
Heard of this through a Facebook group, awesome stuff.
Absolutely brilliant 👍
Awesome film guys got me inspired to do my first Ironman !
Bawling at George!! 😭 what an amazingly humble guy! Legend !!!!
amazing doc, inspiring I went on 12.4km run after watching this and was only thinking of doing a 2-3km run, just kept going.
Taylor Gavinchuk that’s just kinda stupid
@@lukedoyle7802 how is running 12 kilometers kinda stupid?
Jaime López Macías just randomly going for a 12km run
That was great!! I watched from the beginning to the end. 26.2
Thank you Ramseier! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Holy smokes. This video was awesome!
Thank you Ivan! We really enjoyed making it
The human being at his best...it´s very encouraging to note that we can achieve unthinkable goals if we dedicate ourselves 100% and believe...mostly believe! Thanks for the vídeo.
Thank you Bruno! Our team was so motivated that we are going to enter into a mini triathlon our selves! Believing is everything.
PamelaJTomlinson believe in yourself
For me one of the best Ironman motivation movies , because it shows so many different age grouper personalities
Incredible
YAY! George! WOO HOOOOOOO!!
Impressive.
Proof that outliving your age group is the easiest way to qualify.
good video
so inspired by George
I live in Boston and biking here might be as dangerous as any other part on the country but I am tired of drivers swerving at me in their cars. I was told twice that if I was seen again he'll run me over and pretend it was an accident. I know I'm crying like a baby 👶. I try to find places where I can cycle without cars around. This is how I feel right now 😨
carbmonsters I
Try living in Bangkok like me. Biking he’ll, they swerve at me when I’m running.
Well made! I would appreciate if you put more info about location and event in the info of the video.
It’s in Penticton British Columbia Canada
This dude is killing me with "Triath-I-lon"
Triad's Lion 😁
"...these are just people and you could be one..." Yes.....THIS...
Boom👍
Doing a bike training in the gym!
I do triathlons the last mile is always the brutalist u know that it's all you have left and I pushed got 2nd in my age group usat
I always wondered how common people reach the target ,and not professionals we usually watch on e- ytube!!!
Was this 70,3 distance or more ????
Strange distance…
Hey ! Do anyone know the name off that movie , tell man ho use druks and come world champion triatlong , its tru storie
This Summer I want to finish the longest triathlon ever. 30 times Ironman distance... 5.400 k cycling and 1.266 k running
Do it!
Better to do one under 9 hours
drafting penalty? wow 😲

This documentary is very confusing. The introduction states that it is a full iron distance 140.6 race. At various points it references the 70.3 distance, and the actual race is a somewhat obscure “ITU Long Distance” 3km swim, 120km cycle and 30km run
Half way through the video. So far the mos discouraging triathlon/ marathon doc I've seen.
Confused about the distance here was it a 70.3 or full Ironman or both?
I had to look this up. It's somewhere in the middle: 3k swim, 120k bike, 30k run
Well the competitors seemed a bit confused , I am sure I heard references to marathons and half marathons. Still a good film though 😀
Film? I hear the phrased “filming it” , film at eleven, he has the film etc etc - who uses film anymore? It’s all digital - can we please have a new word?😆
But it is a good vid.
Sorry I'm old skool 😊
It's an ITU Long Course, 3K swim, 80K Bike, 20k Run,
Why is the bike 120 km and running 30? It is not aan ironman distance event?
1/2 im I think
Half IM is 90km bike and 21.1km run.
Its an itu so its longer than a half but shorter than the full
30 km is not a marathon
Ironman does have a marathon though
It was a 70.3 competition, half Ironman.
Don’t care for the chick with the sob story, everything else was awesome! Great film.
The Motion Mechanic sob
ZenCoder one lol you don’t know me son!
ZenCoder you’re damn right about that! Just given my opinion though!
ZenCoder yes! I could be wrong, just thought every time she talked it was negative
ZenCoder I’ll have to rewatch it again. But you’re right, you never know one’s history, I’m not you, I’m not her, I’m not him. So we can’t really say anything except to ourselves.
It was 86 Fahrenheit. That's not that hot. I guess loving in Canada you would think it's a scorcher.
Lol yeah I was laughing. I have yet to have a training day as low as 31C. Mind you I’d freeze to death at 21C.
S
"Its harder than it sounds..." translate: I am amazing and you are just a mere mortal..." Ummm---yeah FO SURE!
is the narrator a bot?
Very Nice Video. Can You do A bike give away?
It's tri-ath-lon ... NOT tri-ath-a-lon ... get it right! smh :-(
ZERO respect for DNF participants, unless injury prevents them from reaching the finish
All fierce competitors and great doc but… Jeff’s voice was unbearable to me - and why is he screaming all the time?! Aaarrgghhh 😵💫😵
