  • In this video, we're going to walk you through programming our battery guards. Discharging your battery too low levels can cause irreversible damage, reducing its performance and charge-holding ability. Battery guards prevent discharging your battery to very low levels by disconnecting the battery in an under-voltage situation. They also disconnect the battery in an over-voltage situation, so protecting sensitive electronic appliances from damage resulting from faulty alternators or chargers.
Once the battery guard senses a charging voltage on the battery it will reconnect, allowing you to continue to use your 12V/24V systems.

The product description says "They also disconnect the battery in an over-voltage situation". Can you include a video showing this feature?

I misread. I though it disconnected the battery from the charge source, but it disconnects the load side.

@@kevinquick2101 Hi You could use it for over-voltage protection on a charging source if you wish. it would then stop that charging current going to your battery should there be a spike. Your battery would just need connecting as a load. We will look into added a video in future showing this feature.
