Oh for sure. Part 4 had its share of music being reused but Part 6 had a lot from all the parts. One of Diavolo’s themes plays during a Pucci moment, the church organ one (I forget the name but I extended it forever ago). Part of me thinks it’s a celebration of the end of the original universe so they brought a bunch of songs from the past in (by Yugo Kanno anyways, they didn’t reuse anything from Part 1/2 since he didn’t do it). However…it could also be a creative decision to not produce as many tracks for Stone Ocean. There are quite a few by all means…but Parts 3/4 had 4 soundtracks, 5 had 3 soundtracks…Stone Ocean may have only two depending how many tracks they stick on each. I’m saying 3 OSTs at best…they could surprise us with 4 who knows.

I love all the references to part 3 in this fight. The knives in stopped time, counting seconds this time by Jotaro, Pucci doing Dio's pose, that visual with Dio behind him, and I was hoping so much for this Dio theme to play and it sure did. I didn't like when it was used during ermes killing sports maxx, because this track is unique and should be used during specific moments, this one was one of the best
I think it fits with Ermes and Sports max since it was a battle of fate plus it delt with the undead which is indirectly associated with DIO. It is indeed fitting for that moment
@@steelrainmf1121 Meh, not sure about that. There should have been maybe Ermes theme or a new version of it, because it was the most significant moment for her
@@steelrainmf1121 I can see that, it's a DIO motif and since Sports max revived DIO's bone and became the living dead himself, it fits. I like to think that this track being used at the knives scene is DP showing us that Pucci's plan is essentially just Dio biting Jotaro's ass from beyond the grave
I mean, all the times this theme was used, it was at the most important moment of the most important fights. The Gang vs Dio, The Morioh gang vs Kira, Hermes avenging her sister, Weather report being THIS CLOSE to kill Pucci, and finally when the whole part 6 gang fights with Pucci when he acquired Made in Heaven. Not only what you say can be applied, but also the fact that Pucci tends to talk about being prepared and stuff. Well, he was indeed prepared, and Jotaro wasn't.
Tbh I took it as Pucci being psychotic/smart enough to realize jotaro’s stress point & press on them. Knives (ptsd) & his daughter. Pucci was an intelligent prick & he wasn’t even a vampire, pillarman, serial killer, or mob boss, just a priest.

Had to do a reupload. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and I had an editing flub at the end I wanted to correct. I actually wanted to do this around Batch 1 but opted not to. Though it did influence me making that recent DIO Mix if you've watched that yet. Final Battle has been around since Stardust Crusaders, infamously used when DIO brings in the Road Roller Da to crush Jotaro and they trade ORAORAORAORA/MUDAMUDAMUDAs on both ends of the machine. It reappears in Diamond is Unbreakable in the battle with Kira at the end of the part and when he's dragged into the unknown by the hands in the alley. It plays when Ermes defeats Sports Maxx and of course...when Jotaro stops time as a last ditch effort against Pucci before noticing the Knives.
The only other place I can think of with a steam roller was Austin Powers. I love this show because it never goes for a joke, it only plays absurd things as deadly serious.
