My problem with the Sony XM's is that the earbuds seem to give up after a year. I had the XM3, then XM4 twice, not worth the high cost

I had the same experience, with 2 different pairs xm4, I would steer people away from Sony, only for this reason
Me too… after 11 months the left side battery went bad and i replaced them and the new pair after 13 months the right side went about 30% softer
