Refs mustn't have been very experienced. Saw one girl got choked out at the same comp No-Gi, RNC was held for about 40 secs before the ref noticed she'd gone limp.
Bro I saw it too! I was watching the mat to that girls right cause one of our white belts were going. That girl had EMT’s on the mat and all sorts of medical help. I didn’t know exactly what had happened until I saw the video on Instagram. How that ref didn’t hop in is insane. 40 seconds on a RNC and you don’t check to see if the person is moving!? Unreal.
@@ursinhobjj I honestly think there needs to be some accountability in all combat sports when it comes to safety. The ref is there to protect the fighters, in that case he didn't do his job so should be at least suspended or banned from reffing.
@@alexhurley7617 yeah it that girls case she was choking on her mouth guard while getting rear naked choked and the ref was just there. He definitely shouldn’t be on the mats again dealing with anyone
