Completely agree about the writing of the Caraval series…I found it sort of corny and hard to enjoy. A little cringe. 😢 Didn’t read past the first book, even though I was pretty taken with the story.
So glad others feel that way about the writing! I loved the story and the whimsy so that kept me going, but totally understand why you didn’t ☺️
