About 35 years ago I took a class at my university in Montreal by an Israeli guest professor and I was quite surprised by his anti religious teaching telling us that orthodox Jews were archaic people dressed in Middle Ages clothing. It was quite appalling. I didn’t know I was Jewish at the time but was always curious of Judaism and Israel since my maternal grand mother was Jewish (my paternal grand father was a Christian Arab from Haifa and my mom was born there in 1945) I didn’t understand his comtempt towards religious Jews being Israeli but I remember it till this day so it made an impression. I understand now that the woke ideology was a long way in making and started many years ago.

While I agree that soldiers in the proper carrying out of their duties deserve all the support their country can give them, a
blanket immunity that will protect them even in the event of the commission of unlawful acts simply because the accusation is brought from an outside source can be interpreted as an admission of guilt by implication. Tread carefully here...

This is terribly sad for me, as an admirer of the Jewish people,.. an old, old culture, who is in possession of ancient knowledge, and have and are making such a great contribution to modern technology, etc... let alone the influences they had on the advent of the Christian religion,.. Jesus at the time could hardly have been born from any other genealogy, in order for him to pass on the `secrets of the western tradition`. To hear that this destructive and false narrative could come from the mouth of a jewish person, is perplexing.
