"I honestly felt like I learned more about the business of acting [in Hollywood Winners Circle Academy] than anything I ever known. And I thought I knew a lot being a recent graduate of the American Academy Of Dramatic Arts. Wendy you were very patient and kind to me. You took the time out to see where I was coming from and leveled with me so I could fully understand what I was getting myself into. Thank you so much for speaking very clearly about how to build relationships with actors, directors and casting directors. Wendy Alane Wright is an amazing person. Can't wait to see what the future holds." - Luc Jean
"It was an amazing experience having the chance to work with Wendy [in Hollywood Winners Circle Academy]. She genuinely wants to help actors chase their dreams, and means it when she says “I love you actors”... You feel the love! If you are an aspiring actor or an established one, having someone like Wendy in your corner can give you so much belief to achieve your goals. I believe that if you’re lucky enough to be able to work with Wendy do it now! Wendy is one of the best resources for acting you can ever have."- Jack Davies
“Actors who are serious about a career in the arts know they need to make investments to get started. When I see that someone has worked with Wendy [in Hollywood Winners Circle Academy] closely, I know they’re in the business and ready to get started. These are the actors who are eager and ready to succeed, and with whom I’m eager to work!” - Versa Manos, Talent Managers For Actors Manager; Gorgeous Media Group

Brilliant. I have watched a lot of one hour interviews and received small nuggets of useful information that had me saying" Well, that's one hour I wont get back." But from the start this one hour roundtable has given me life chancing advice for the future of my film and TV carrier. Thank you to the amazing panelists Amy Lyndon, Wendy Alane Wright and Jessica Houde Morris. As well as host Kellen Boyle. Top Shelf.

@@wendyalane1 You guys were spot on about uploading clips of your specialties. I just saw a casting notice for someone with advanced tennis skills on a major network crime series. I can’t submit because I don’t possess that skill.

I respectfully disagree that this industry is a competition. As an actor, having this mentality is venom. Dealing with never ending rejection and now thinking that I have to constantly win at everything is not healthy. They’re actors that can bring something special to the table that I can never bring. BUT they’re special qualities that I can bring to the table that no one else can. So instead of being in this venomous mindset that this is a competition, own and be confident in who you are, and make strong choices. Don’t worry about the guy/girl sitting next to you. Other than that, great video thank you!

There is the creative side and then there's the business side. It's all in the name, show business...and in show business there is competition. Thanks for watching and glad you enjoyed the video!

Such a great, interesting discussion & all the points make a lot of sense, thank you for sharing here! 🙏 Wendy, your channel is a treasure chest for actors ❤. Things mentioned about auditions & showing the gift of you are true about life in general (like marketing your skills, services, dating etc).
Offtopic: Amy looks quite a bit like a very famous Russian singer Alla Poogacheva :) (Алла Пугачева, English spelling might differ).

Hi Wendy! Thank you so much for this. Quick question: How much money should I save up, generally speaking to really be prepared and get started in the business? Thank goodness I’m able to afford monthly classes, but I understand there’s still expenses and investments to be made when actually getting into the specifics of the business.
