      People sometimes forget pac wasn’t a gangsta your right. He was a rapper/ actor that’s it. He was heavily influenced by those who were running in the streets but never was one of them. He allowed people to control him which for someone so strong just made no sense. Ultimately his mouth is what got him killed and shot in 94 as well. He doesn’t know when to stop and being he was the star I’m not sure why nobody around him made sure he was tamed. Imagine today’s rapper RUclipsr whoever that’s huge walk around doing what pac did and no one stepping in. No way never would happen. Security label someone would make sure that act is tamed. He spoke how he felt and it got him killed. He just didn’t know when to stop

  • @akay8127
    @akay8127 5 лет назад +34

    If you listen to 2pac interviews, on one of them he said (this came out of his own mouth on video) that the dudes kept on calling him and rushing him to get to the studio asking him where he was and what time he's gonna get to the studio and all that. He also said that night he did some tracks for free for someone I can't remember who (that's how real the dude was and probably why he was broke at certain times of his career even though he was selling records old and making movies at that time. He also didn't charge Karl Kani for endorsing his clothes. Can you imagine Jay-Z or Diddy doing something like that? Pac was a real dude that believe in uplifting his people. The rap game has made millionaires just like selling cracking did in the 80's but that money has done nothing for the communities where those millionaires come from. When they killed Pac they just didn't kill a rapper.....anyway I digress) but he was gonna charge these dudes $7 500 because he could see they were just trying to use him. So yes Pac was talking to Jimmy so possibly Stretch also spoke to Jimmy before they got to the studio. What I'm saying is Dexter could be telling the truth that Stretch was giving Jimmy information on where they were etc but he probably didn't know what was about to go down, he wasn't settings Pac up knowingly . I just can't see him being part of the set up but then again anything is possible but if you listen to Stretch brother interview it's not about believing what he was saying but he is right it didn't make sense to set Pac up, Pac was their ticket out of the ghetto(their golden goose). Why set him up for some small change? AND they was like brothers. ........

      @More Live. Most of it was told from '94 onwards and has been documented, they came up with an alternative story and stuck to it. Half of the things he saying are probably fals anyways. Don't you think it's strange they came with a new version of stretches role after so many years? Out of the blue they bring up stretch after 20 plus years, as if it never been asked or like they forgot and now want to bring negativity on a guy that's dead for 23 years, Coz they care about the truth? No way! that's what their memory is worth.

    Here’s what I don’t like about Tupac fans. The truth comes out after years of blaming the wrong people but somehow you don’t want to admit that you were wrong and so you create narratives to keep the people you were originally blaming in the mix so you can still hate on them too. Pac first got shot at quad, everyone was shitting on biggie. Wishing that he dies; hoping he gets shot too because he “set Pac up.” So I read this thread and instead of people saying “well this clears biggie” instead y’all dig in and now you go even harder at Jack where it’s clearly explained that he had nothing to do with it. Had Tupac listened to biggie to stay clear of these dudes, this would have never happened but instead Tupac goes back and told these knuckleheads that he was running with what biggie warned him about. .#RIPBigPoppa

Rappers didn't really start getting crazy paid until the late 90s unless you were death row that's where he started to really come up money wise.

And He has made 3 successful films, So tell me where in your fact finding tell me he didn’t earn any type of wealth.

Especially when he had to recoup and fight lawsuits. I never said he wasn’t successful, I said he wasn’t a star at the time he was running around NY with the gangsters. Pac was more known more for his run ins with the law in than his music at that particular time.

    Reading these comments are pretty sad. So many people want to believe legends. Though most people didn't know who Dexter Isaac was or that he was responsible - the whole streets knew the particulars of what happened. Pac was a talented entertainer - but he was not a gangster. He was not a real revolutionary either. He was a very talented rapper and actor but he had many character flaws. Mike Tyson warned him.. Big warned him. You can't act like your movie characters with dudes who really kill and have people killed. Pac left NY at 13... He didn't understand the streets. That got him robbed in NY.... But the same behavior got him killed in Vegas too... Sorry to hurt you all's feelings but those are the facts. Most of you don't seem to learn and think his behavior was smart. It wasn't. Had he been more composed he might still be alive today and you all could hear new music of his.
