My favorite car is the Ford Sierra Cosworth RS500. Only because here in America I had a melt Merkur XR4Ti for my first car then a month later I bought another, then another, and another. I had four Merkur XR4TI cars when I was 18 and just got my license. My friends were Ford Mustang tuners, they had 10 second stangs and helped me build up my Merkur's transmission with a trenic t4, drive shaft, clutch, built head, valves, springs, posi traction diff (well it was welded), suspension, torsion bars, axles, and that was on my fault driver and they did it for fun. Banging out a tranny, clutch and flywheel at 10 pm on the side of the road. Another had a Ford Mustang 4.6L V8 swap when they got a new stang and ripped the engine out to put a 5.0L fully built with all GT40 so they just put it in the Merkur as a project and it was insane but nothing could compare to the built head, all straight pipe all deletes, Garrett turbo super 60 (or 60-1? I don't remember), tuned and it was the built one with the trenic, suspension, torsion bars, Ford Mustang McLaren edition white McLaren honeycomb rims. It was beautiful and I couldn't go anywhere without people who would talk about how their stock automatics smoked a GTA, Camaro, IROC-Z, Firebird. It people who asked what it was and telling me how they rejected seeing then but never knew what they were. Love your vids
Lovely sounds, lovely video Bozzy! You are great! What type of racing cars are these red f1 like open wheelers, i mean in which championship do they compete? They sound brutal!
AWESOME video! Have to say I'm loving all the 5-cyl engine sounds, like a V10 but more dissonant I guess :) They're kinda eerie in a good way. Especially the Quattro S1 (5:10)!
Thanks - i prefer your Channel -- nice because i cant drive cars since years - handicapt - and your channel is for me "the vivaldi - to look ". I hope you understand it - and i wish you a nice 2015
Hey, 19Bozzy92 - Wonderful, as usual! I love the vids I see of European hillclimbs - coming from the US in August-ish, what/where would be the most definitive; most varied hillclimb to attend, assuming that's all I want to do on the trip? In and out; just a room and a couple days of watching. Anything in Western or Central Europe. Got some advice? Thanks -
mccanlessdesign Thank you! On this website you can find all the European hillclimb championship and you can see date or place of each races in the various Countries. www.rallycross-photo.com/heuvelklim2/
mccanlessdesign Well don't have a favourite one because I've been only to three hillclimbs and of the three only the Alpe del Nevegal one is on 1-2 of August (and it's a good one in my opinion, valid for both the Italian and Austrian championship). Seeing from other videos on RUclips the St. Ursanne - Les Rangier should be really really amazing because it's in Switzerland (so you have a great entry list in that championship) and it's one of the fastest hillclimb (16-17 of August).
Bozzy is the best! Everytime I get an email with a new video upload I start salivating.
Garrett Martin Thank you so much! :)
