Thanks Tremoursphere
I have a 2009 cbr 600rr, i love that bike! Did a 2 day 1000km trip with it this summer and it did great. My ass was a bit tired but that was due to me not having ridden too much that year so i wasnt used to it. Would absolutely recommend it, though the mirror vibrations in higher speed can be annoying... But its a blast of a bike to ride!
Had mine bang on a year now, and done just Under 5 thousand miles. Still makes me smile every time I ride it. I've not had any problems with taking pillons yet, or they just never complained. Know what you mean by wrist pain though.
i have a 08 cbr600rr i like that it needs to rev which means louder exhaust at legal speeds for 1000cc needs illegal speeds to hear exhaust scream since in low rpms its already at speed haha im using bodis slip on love it
I have a 07 600rr and absolutely love it. Maybe you’re not good enough for one? The fist bit of kit you need for it is a slow boi hoodie because hard as nails mate!!!!😂 On a more serious note I love it, the fact that it hasn’t got silly power low down I see as a big + I use mine frequently for commuting when I don’t want to burn 20mpg in traffic, the less power low down work really well for calm rides when your not trying to knee down, when the revs are up it’s a different animal. Almost like have two bikes for the price of one.
I had a 08 CBR in DUBAI for over four years before moving to England. The only thing I added were crash guards n a GI gear indicator. The bike is awesome I agree as per your review. Light, flicks like a fly. Just get OEM mirrors. Do your head checks. Tc
Cbr looks mint AF, would love to have one. But i think i am leaning s bit more to s upright bike. I like to use my bike for traveling. I can see the mirrors so much, a lot of the cbr models have that problem. See u later m8. Cant wait for the next stream.
Change your your drive sprocket by 1 to 2 teeth more or less For more wayyy more torque (which lowers fuel consumption) or better top end speed (which also helps with fuel economy).
That's the bike I'd like. I have the F - and it's probably easier if you're lazy with the gears and a little more friendly in town. But I've always loved the RR. If you want to sell it - let me know !
That is a really pretty bike. I totally agree re the 600cc motor. Probably the ultimate track tool, but a street bike needs at least some pull. A good middle ground might be the GSX-R750 or a 675 Triple. The scenery in your neck of the woods is breathtaking.
Thank you man! I’m starting to vlog again so keep an eye on my channel. I’ve sold this now and moved on to an Mt09 street rally and Triumph tiger 800 XCA !
@@TremourSphereUK Ah, yes. The MT-09. That should solve your low-end/midrange problem. BTW, I found your channel via an accident compilation. Personaly i think 1st gear has all the torque you need past 25mph, you can power wheely in 1 st at 30mph if you let off the throttle and then pin it. You don't really need to take it out of 1 st gear in town either, your only at 6500 rpms at 30mph, still about 2500 rpms away from the powerband at 8500-15k.
@@frankp.9655 from the perspective of a 600RR I would say exhaust is a must, I went for a yoshi on this one and it was nice, not too loud and a nice bhp boost, honestly with the 600RR’s I didn’t find a lot needed changing, it rides hard and slow very well, it lives up to the reputation of a do everything bike compared to say an R6, I did find getting ASV levers was a nice touch though.

If you’re getting too much vibration in handle bar then change bar end weights for heavier ones if this doesn’t work you’re holding on to tight.

To make you bike a lot faster low end change sprockets one down on front two up on rear this will make a big difference to low end power
