And to add on some artists may be specialised in drawing backgrounds/ sceneries and not humans at all so forcing them to learn a whole new thing without them even wishing to learn said this just isn't right
With the thing you said about My Hero Academia, I think its very important to acknowledge all teenage body types. And to not treat teens with more "mature" builds as if they are less innocent. As a girl who has been pretty "developed" since age 12 it always makes me kinda sad when people only draw developed teens for perverted reasons.
Speaking from experience forcing someone to do something is never good I remember how I used to love reading books like I'd read a lot but after being forced to read things I didn't want to read it pretty much killed off my love for reading so forcing artists to draw something they don't want to draw is not the answer besides i don't think I'd feel great knowing that the art piece I'm looking at was the artist being forced to draw it that it didn't come from the heart or from them genuinely wanting to make that art piece it just feels wrong. Also fun fact if I remember correctly in the manga of Mha there actually was body diversity in one of the chapters in which the girls were in swimsuits they actually had a bit of a variety of bodies however this wasn't implemented in the anime
Prejustice really is a hard word to pronounce TT I've honestly had a big issue with the way I draw different ethnicities for years, like I care deeply about portraying different skin tones but never put in the extra effort to get facial features of different ethnicities right. I want my new years resolution to be to change that. Body types as well, I feel like my own terrible self esteem could be greatly improved if I stopped drawing pretty boys with perfect figures and women with big booba, thigh gaps + thick thighs. >_>'

I feel ya I have terrible same face syndrome with my characters lol
really gotta learn more variety for facial features
I'm going to make sure I draw less representation now.
I think i will learn to draw more Body Typs
How about no make whatever you want instead of force representatives
