6 years on and still great :). Great idea and easy instructions. I'm going to hunt for some vintage scarfs now because I just love your idea. Thanks for sharing
Aw.....Thankyou. Even though it is becoming more and more difficult to be seen on here, I still love it. New Video tgis weekend about a place that does free fabric!! Xx
I'm having so much fun, not only watching you, but making things. I have a certificate in Pattern Making and Clothing construction from years back, but you have freed up the process and made it so creative. Thank you.
Really......??? Well that has made my day (or rather night as it's almost 1am over here!) I do hear and witness that sort of thing all the time, sometimes if you relax the rules a bit the you let the creativity flow.....I know that sounds a bit hippyish but it's true!! Well you keep on having fun and thankyou for such a beautiful comment. Off to bed now.....much too late for me. Tree Xx
Hi.. I watches a few of the other tutorials for sewing scarf kimonos and yours are the best! Your techniques of binding the edges and using the scarves together are inspiring. Thank you!!
Greetings from Trinidad!! Now this is a proper sewing tutorial! Love the kimono, music and your name. I will certainly give this a try as soon as I settle my kids in school. Thank you.
Fabulous!! I have just found you by chance and what a chance!! All your vids are so well explained and many are good for real beginners like me. Thanks very much.Keep up with the good job. All the best.

Hello from Canada! I loved watching your tutorial on how to sew a kimono from Vintage scarves! I like the way you sew without pins! Pins would ruin the delicate cloth that those lovely old scarves are made from. I've taken a dollar store scarf, and sewn it into a very simple, sleeveless kimono. It turned out quite nicely! I'd like to show you what it looks like, but I don't know how to upload photos onto my laptop. My kimono is blue with little flowers on. Thanks for the video! ~Janet in Canada : )
+Shirley Johnson Well, I will be selling this one next week......although I did shorten it!! Raising money for a special pattern Cutting Course. Tree X
foxxybrown291 Thankyou........Of course there are as you said, many other supper easy ways to make scarf kimonos but these little finishes can make all the difference. Tree x
If you like me love tourism scarf prints then watch this Amazing Designer Fabric report by Stitchless TV sewing vlog. I found this online fabric store that do very similar fabrics to Dolce & Gabbana. They sell alot of the fabrics by repeat so check the lengths and you'll see it's quite a bargain. Tree x

BratBusters Parenting Thankyou Lisa.....since I lost all my RUclips friends when facebook closed my personal account, everything has slowed right down. It has been hard to get the momentum going again. (Don't under estimate the value of how your personal facebook page feed into all other social media!!) Tree x
Ugh ... Sorry to hear about that. What seems like a kick in the teeth often turns out to be a positive. Haha, I sound just like my mother, the eternal optimist :).
My sewing machine, even though it's a real life sewing machine and not a toy, cannot sew dainty fabric like that. It will just eat it all up and bunch it. I have tons of old scarves that I inherited from my grandma, and it would be cool to make something with them. Too bad. The scarf kimono looked cool, but I think the pink one you were wearing was cooler.
