    Btw, USA's national coach is Korean as well xD
    Kisik Lee (born 2 July 1957 in Seoul) is the National Head Coach of the US Olympic Archery Training Program, and is considered to be the first person to bring the scientific method to archery training for the US.[2] Lee used to be the head coach of the Korean Olympic archery team. From 1997 to 2004, Lee was Australian Institute of Sport Head Coach and coached 2000 Gold Medalist Simon Fairweather and 2004 Bronze Medalist Tim Cuddihy before coaching the US Olympic Archery Training Program in 2006.

      yeah, body language doesn't lie there. that corrupt official got caught lying about a call. that was CLEARLY a 9.

  • @morph4358
    @morph4358 5 лет назад +25

    Clearly the shot was closer to being a 9, but I believe the rules for this tournament state that if the arrow touches the line, it goes to the higher score, making it a 10, even though common sense would tell us it's a 9.

    • @elobiretv
      @elobiretv 5 лет назад +7

      If it's cut the 10 line then it's a 10, why would it be common sense to make it a 9?

    • @morph4358
      @morph4358 5 лет назад +8

      @@elobiretv Because more of the arrow is in the 9 section than in the 10 section, so a viewer not familiar with the rules would assume it's a 9. But the rules make it a 10 because the arrow just barely touches the line.

      @DasSchorty 5 лет назад +5

      In Volleyball or Tennis for example, if the ball touches the line, it is called in. So I would argue, that the way they are handling this follows the same rule

    Congrats to the Koreans for getting one hell of a convenient call on that 10. That was a 9, plain as day.

    Please don't be a commentator if you're going to be a sore loser. I'm American but the best team won. I liked the Korea coach by the way. He was very fun to watch.

      their arrow was closer to the center

    • @woodsmith8439
      @woodsmith8439 5 лет назад

      Ought to be most x’s for the win, not the last shot. But rules are rules...

    • @error.418
      @error.418 5 лет назад

      @@woodsmith8439 They had a dead tied score by points... Why would "most x's" apply here?

    • @error.418
      @error.418 5 лет назад +8

      In a shoot-off to settle a tie, if the shoot-off also results in a tie, then they measure who had an arrow closer to the dead center. The Korean's had an arrow that was closer to dead center.

    • @woodsmith8439

      Olympic rules. NFAA uses most x's to break ties. Gives a fairer perspective as to the better archer.

      I am Korean, but I know the data from 70~75% win 25~30% loss. Brady could win this game. But luck didn't work out.
      That's all I like about this kind of game.
