For some reason i've read the title as "Best Weapons For Underwhealmed PMCs" at first, so basically the best weapons for the 99,9% of the playerbase i was thinking lol
As someone thats barely scratching the 20 hour mark I appreciate your content immensely as I simultaneously learn the basic mechanics and the thought processes behind the more advanced playstyles. You're my go-to guy for Tarkov content and knowledge!
As someone who runs ultra budget PvP setups for fun, I would honestly recommend shotgun slugs. Way more range than SMGs or buckshot, and it's always fun to make someone limp with a single shot. Would also recommend a Module 3 armour instead of a PACA. Module 3s go for like, 10 to 15k on the flea.
Great tips, 100% agree! Slugs are very underrated, and fun things about module 3M is that it's different material type, which gives more of a damage reduction. Plus you help players who start late into the wipe to complete the quests
@@markdombrovan8849material type affects damage reduction? Do you have a source for that? AFAIK it only affects the effective durability and repairability.
@@AnEnemyAnemone1 just watch gigabeef armor guide. iirc "harder" stuff like steel and titanium has more dmg mitigation than "softer" stuff, like aramid and UHMP. "Brittle" stuff falls in the middle (ceramic and glass)
A general tip: consider using semi auto guns to get the most out of more valuable rounds. A long range ADAR build is going to get much better value out of the 30 rounds of M995 you found than running it in an M4A1 in CQB. Also, the ability to color code and label magazines with the tagging feature is extremely underutilized. I typically bring 2 mags for premium/mixed ammo, and label them unambiguously so that I don’t ever have to empty and repack it if I’m kitting up. For example, I often run 45 round 5.45 mags with a 15/15/15 split of BS (shoots first), BT, and PP. I give the deadlier magazines a red color code and label them “15x3 BS>BT>PP”, and sometimes run spare mags of US so I can take out scavs with subsonic US.
Top tier content and analysis. I've been implementing some of your Load-outs in my game play and they're very practical for someone who solo queue most of the time. Wanted to add that the G36 is a cheap and nice gun to use if you prefer a higher fire rate than the MDR.
I love the Press vest!! Class 4 is nice but when most people are running 40-45 pen ammo, I will use class 3 or 6 when purchasing new armor to either maximize protection or value! Stay safe and have fun!
Man came thru clutch. I was watching your videos last night and was wanting a video just like this as im finally in mood to jump back in Tarkov but im still lvl 13. Thanks bro.
Pro tip: Grab a PPSH with a Drum Mag (Prapor I), load it with TT LRNPC (Jaeger I), Load into interchange and rush the nearest extract, lay down and wait for your free kit, spray the legs, grab free loot, especially the big backpack guys, you got a free kit, and either snowball with it or try again
Stacking Luger or G.T. around PST is great. I usually spend that extra moment outside the Raid, to stack my mags with a 1-to-2 ratio, 5PST / 10 Luger or G.T / 5PST / 10 Luger or G.T. The higher R.O.F. means you get through the ammo mix fairly quickly on Legs/Stomach, but if they've got good Armour, the few PSTs will do a teensy little extra Armour Dmg. It may not be much, but if you're say, dumping 3x 30-Rounders into someone, or 2x 50-Rounders in say, an MP5, it makes the difference, in maddened CQB Bullet Vomit fights, needing 10 or 15 rounds fewer, to beat them down to dirt.
I reckon the huge capacity sort of compensates for the lack of a laser, there's less penalty to prefiring and then adjusting your aim depending on where the first shots go
The real trick to using the PPSH is ignoring the top damage rounds and using AKBS instead thanks to the rounds reduced recoil and improved accuracy stats. It lets you hip fire with much better results.
Indeed the prefect time for this video! I've figured a lot of this out just playing this as my first wipe but there were a bunch of things in here that I didn't know before...Great stuff!
RFB will always be my go to, no mods needed, good for popping heads at range, and accurately spammable for close range panic, unlike the SVDS. if you manage to find some of the good ammo, the Rsh-12 is also a fantastic choice.
My Strat with the mp9 is it takes at least one clip per kill leg meta with pst ( its cheap and just as effective) then I bring about 100-200 extra rounds in addition to at minimum 4 mags. With about 10 mags worth of ammo you can mag dump anything you need to and then if you die you aren't losing a lot of expensive ammo. MP9 was first gun I mastered this wipe and the repacking helps level those skills too! I didn't realize the p90 was available that early.
My poor level 12 friend has quit the game multiple times in just the past few months because we get destroyed by all the level 70+ gamers with their SR25s. I'm hoping Nikita crashes the economy late wipe and we're all forced to use scav guns, limiting ourselves to the PPSH, which is objectively the best gun. TLDR: made you read a post for me to say the PPSH is the best gun
Just got flea yesterday, fence is a great place to get high tier armor. Cost a bit for damaged armor but ive snagged a few zabrallos, tagilla rig, and many other tier 5 armors.
For all svds ammo: it will certainly twoshot thorax, but what giga isn’t talking about here is how arms will eat at least 2 more shots, and I’ve had enemies eating 4 shots altogether, having 380+ damage done to body and they still kill me because arms are all the damage.
I actualy prefer my favorite KEDR or KLIN with sniper rifle :D Kedr is like Scorpion, very small, fast and dont have recoil, problem is :D Its sub. for 15-25m only. After is good AKS and AK74 :) I love AK, because ammo is everywhere like 9x18 for kedr. Good strategie is take sub. and sniper or AK and cheap sniper rifle. Good option for sub. is PP19 Vitas :D Its like 9mm AK, nut dont have recoil and is better than M5
Not sure if its good advice for new players but super early wipe i buy the limit of kedrs cos theyre so cheap it lets me get multiple 30 round mags and just sell the extras straight back to mech
This is a noob question but will they post the actually wipe date ahead of time? I see people think it will happen late June but will we get a confirmation before?
Not really, they'll do prewipe events at some point that will signify the beginning of their intention to wipe, but usually not even this until about two weeks before at most. Normally there is only actually confirmation a day or two before the wipe itself although the community pretty much knows a bit before then because of the event pacing. The certain point is when every item becomes one ruble on the traders as that's the real point of no return for the economy!
Its not a "how its implemented in the game right now" for PPSH. It is literally impossible for that weapon to jam. It has no insides. You don't even have a trigger. Your "trigger" is just a metal spike that stops the bolt from going RATATATATATATATATATATATATATA indefinitely.
Let me add on to your comments about early lvl shotguns. Boys. The amount of geared chads that have fallen to my 54 durability Saiga 12s shooting 8.5mm buck is innumerable. At lvl 1-15, you can very easily 1 hit any scav to the head without having to aim very well (spread) and either going for the legs or a single face tap against PMCs is still VERY lethal with starting 5.25mm or 7mm. Once you get lvl 2 Jaeger and Skier you unlock magnum buckshot, full durability Saigas, and more modding options for them. 8.5mm will 1 tap exposed eyeballs/jaws out to nearly 100 meters… You can “snipe” with this shotgun… Good luck.
There isn't really an exact number, but you have to remember that you need to drain the PMC's entire health pool (440) in order to kill them that way. Typically that means you have to hit them a lot. Because of that any option that can do a ton of damage very quickly is best, since it needs to be fast enough that the other person doesn't kill you first. Generally I'd stay away from rifles since they don't do that much damage and can shoot slower, and instead use submachine guns for their fire rate and shotguns for their immense damage. Use whatever ammo you can afford with the most damage
dont sleep on the MP9, its a poor mans MP7 and you can get 9 mill green tracer ammo cheap. it will shred and has a high as fuck RPM, plus its always less than 20k

I can laser you with SMGs further than you can hit me with a shotgun slug, the slugs aren't reliable and rip is buffed and doesn't work.
