Seems we are all trying to adjust to figure out how to make it grow and bloom really well. Keeping us on our toes! I think my non blooming issues are related to too dry of a winter. Hopefully I’m on the right track! I look forward to your next update!

Hey yoshi yea Petals Sepals and Spines youtube channel was saying theirs didn't bloom till they moved higher light. Yours should be better this year without the shade cloth. Maybe it will this year. I think where you moved it is perfect! I hope you see a difference in all your plants. 😊

I beleive it is lack of light but not during summer. I mean, in nature they grow in deciduous forests, therefore with high light including some direct sun during winter but shaded by tree canopies during summer. You have a beautiful large plant and when it blooms, it should be wonderful.

They look great, so it has to be light, you're right! I get that thry are grown in Japan for the plant, and i love how ot looks, but without blooms i think we all feel kinda cheated, we're supposed to have both!😊

You have such a big specimen, I hope moving it works to make it bloom! The Amami island neos are used to higher temperatures, I don't know if that would mean they would bloom hotter too. My neos only bloom if I give them a winter on a window, so a colder winter.

🤞🤞 yeah. I know where that is and how the climate is too… that island do get snow….

Your neo looks lush. So many contradictory statements when it comes to our orchids huh? Too hot/too cold/not enough light/too much light… you will just have to find what works for you in your space (and that will accommodate your busy schedule this time of year) 🌸

That's what you need to do, start importing Neos from Japan to sell. I'm sure Kathleen will buy them and they will do so amazing.

Hi8 Yoshi, your neo is so huge ! Just like mine that never bloomed! As you said it yourself it's probably light issue ! I've seen Botany Boy's channel about neos and he lives in Japan and he keeps his outdoors where it snows! check this link: ruclips.net/video/4veQFbbm1Yc/видео.html Thanks for sharing your care tips and happy growing!
