I had a similar problem. the dispenser started, but when I put my hand under the sensor, the diode in the switch only flashed orange and the pump buzzed briefly and nothing happened. I repeatedly dried the dispenser and nothing helped. only after reading the local comments I tried to blow the tube that sucks the soap from the bottle (I felt resistance) and then tried the dispenser. wow. again works. thanks for your ideas in the comments
I just fixed mine after watching several videos. See the top seam that goes around? Take a knife and it will pry off. Take out screws and pull partly out. Mine had soap film on led light which I cleaned off with Qtip and alcohol. Cleaned any excess soap I saw and reassembled. Works! Yay!
I had the same problem but fixed it today. I used a thin straw to blow out the clogged soap from the bottom of dispenser. My Xiaomi dispenser is working again after all the clogged soap is removed.
I just did the same thing, foamy soap came out and did nothing, then I remembered another video on how to unclog your foaming machine by squirting water with a little flexible bottle, (similar to the ones ladies use to apply their home hair color product on their hair) up the hose, until it was coming out clear water. Sadly I didn’t have one of those, but then I remembered I have a syringe 💉, so I flushed it out that way.!!!! But with NO luck 😞, that didn’t change a freaking thing.!!!! Next I will use a hairdryer on and see if anything changes. If nothing changes then, in the bin / trash it goes. Disposable hand washing bottles - welcome back with open arms 🤗
OH MY GOD! You guys just saved my soap dispenser from not getting thrown out. 1.Tried to blow with the straw from the dispenser. Got really dizzy doing this a few times. There came a lot of soap out, but the sensor would still not react. 2. Then blow in the other hole, beside the straw intake. There came more soap out. But still no effect. 3. Took a little toothpick blocking the air intake beside the straw intake. Then take a normal straw, it fits perfectly over the main straw intake. Now blow while doing this keep cleaning the soap remains. You should here the sensor begining to react! 4. Asemble it all together and shout- HALLELUJA 😄
Thanks, it helped me! Actually I have two of those, one of them stopped working and was waiting to be thrown out since like two months - today i tried blowing it out thanks to your comment and it started working again! ❤
@@kunalsoni726 I did blow at all of them XD When you take off the soap container you have that protruding hole with seal - I did blow into that, didn't do it. After that I blowed into that hole just beside it with condensed air - that did the trick (but took a few tries). Good luck!
Hi guys, this doesn't make any sense. I fixed it(at least for the moment, I can't assure anything), by just clicking randomly on the touch button until it worked again. I hope this can help all the people below in the comments with the same problem
This item has a malfunction and I contacted the manufacturer and they won't stand behind their item because I cannot locate my receipt, they asked for pictures I sent them it, last text was no receipt no help. We should all complain concerning this item that clearly states that item has malfunctioning issue. Aug 2023
Nothing to do with the clogged soap... It's the sensor that is having the issue... My xiaomi soap dispenser also had the same issue... Broke down after 1 week of use!
Did you try to blow air into the little hole next to the nozzle that connects to the soap bottle? I fixed the sensor issue after removed the clogged soap. My Xiaomi dispenser is working perfectly now

The issue of my unit was, that the white light blinked but nothing happened. Blew out all holes with an air duster can and it started working again! Thx guys!
Same shit happened to mine. If you left it untouched for a while it'll start working again for a while, then stops again. I dissassembled it, cleaned the motor from rust and greased it, cleaned the contacts and washed the board with the consequent drying hard. It had worked for another week. Now it works for a while, when left to dry for a while, then stops, then again works, sporadically. I repeated the cleaning/greasing, didn't help. It just a piece of shit: it doesn't have any trace of waterresistance inside, that's a shame for such a device. Consider it a single use of batteries, just about 4 months. Then it goes to the bin, otherwise it'll fuck your brain out.
I had the same problem with this one but i found a way to fix it..the pump doesn't work because it got clogged by the soap. To fix this issue remove the soap bottle and the batteries and blow air into the little nozzle that connects to the bottle of soap until the clogged soap is removed.

How? Did you use something to blow the tube? Is it the white plastic tube on the dispenser itself or that removable tube from the bottle?

I had the same problem. I tested the IR sensor, with a tv remote, end it's worked! so my problem is the IR LED.
my is a different brand but has the same problem. it responds to my tv remote nothing else. By any chance you know how to fix it?
Just switch off, wipe the sensor thoroughly, and then switch on. It WILL work.
Still working?
Possible Fix - Try using Alkaline Batteries, fixed for me.
