- This is Isiolo Town in its raw and unfiltered form. The town in the heart of Kenya. I arrived there thinking it's only Somalis who live and do business there, but I was shocked. And that's why seeing is believing. Now I know better.
Isiolo was hot and windy, and I enjoyed that after coming from the cold Meru town.

I was raised in isiolo very many years apo kula mawe , went to highvision primary , and the transformation is amazing , i cant even recognize it now wow , amazing 😍
If someone had predicted that one day everyone will own a TV Station, no would have believed them.
Ati mwalimu wa maths alisema nini?😊 just like eastleigh in Nairobi this is our next big city but it needs some organization, modernization, planning and cleaning when all I have mention is done people will notice the town one by one relocate thus making this town our next frontier city as per vision 2030 blue print and may help in decongesting cities like Nairobi and Mombasa. I visited once and I can honestly tell you the town has grown so fast, thanks for the good work mkuu!!👏👍👊
And most importantly, it's in the heart of Kenya. Proposed to be the capital city of LAPPSET corridor.

I left Isiolo 30 year ago Ezra i was born and went to school called wabera primary &isiolo girls then 70% was somali population but since then Others moved in but i noticed big transformation good video

It was Borana, not Somali. Those are two different ethnic groups.

Not bad for an arid town, ni venye tu investors huconcentrate na major cities na big towns in Kenya otherwise wangewekeza kwa towns like Isiolo, Meru, Garissa, Turkana etc this places zingekua kama city sahii since they also have vest lands for development

Kwanza isiolo is the most centrally located town in Kenya.if the govt had goodwill this could be made the Admin capital by moving parliament huko then Nairobi ibaki Finacial capita just like SA and Nigeria did to decongest their capitals

Who lied to you that Somalis live there. Its Borana, Gabra, Rendille, Samburu, Merus. Just because they look alike doesnt mean they are Somalis. Its just a misconception you had.

Except for a minor but hilarious incident my one visit here was fantastic.at about 2am my flimsy door shattered and two bodies flew into my room,a Meru lady n a somali man.the man demanding a refund n the lady insisting it wasn't her fault the gentleman could not rise to the occassion and she had already expended her five hours trying to coax him on.my love for theatre took over from the initial anger when the lady called me her father and asked me to announce justice.i settled the matter and in hindsight maybe law as opposed to accounting was my real calling🤣🤣.a peculiar cooking custom of the mostly Meru owned meat dens is when you put an order for boiled meat whether a kilo or more only about 4 potatoes are thrown in.when I complained I was tersely told"huku tunapikanga hivyo".beer is bought like the breweries are closing tomorrow.most generous town with raw uncouth friendships
