Do you know what is a lever in science? If you don't, watch this short story for kids in our series of science for kids. King and Queen are trying hard to lift a rock, but to their dismay, they aren't able to move it. They ask Appu for help, when Neena suggests them to use a lever instead. She explains using a sketch, and explains all the parts of the lever. Using Appu's yogic powers, they have a pipe and Neena asks everyone to help them lever the rock. They put in all their strength and they clear the rock away. King, Queen and Tiger take a nap, but Appu wants to learn more about levers. Neena shows him an example, using scissors. They all go to a nearby construction site to learn more about levers. They notice different types of levers in earth movers, shovels and a hammer. They also conclude that their hands and legs are levers. They go back to Upvan Forest and Appu uses his Yogic powers to create a see-saw.
