I always play with Frame Skip On and No Background whenever there's lag/low frames... Aside from that, I'm too ignorant to think of another solution. 10:20 Yeah, Jabon is a GOATed mod dev.
As for magic weapon suggestions, I think the main thing are the accessories, for example for Thorium the *"Dragon's Talon Necklace", "Mirror of the Beholder"* and *"Monster Charm"* are pretty good. Calamity also adds the *"Frost Flare"* and *"Mana Polarizer".* For weapons maybe the *"Gleaming Magnolia", "Icicle Trident"* and *"SHPC".* Also after you kill the 2nd Mec Boss, check the "Adamantite Enchantment" from Fargo's Souls.
frame skip didnt do anything unfortunately, it just froze my game
@@mintgamingterraria That's weird, well there's a post on workshop called "Permanently Fixing Low FPS Issues on TmodLoader/Terraria, Works and Tested in Multiplayer! (Works With Calamity and/or Infernum)", maybe that helps.
at 3:32 when the music cut off i'm pretty sure that was the "noxus eclipse" a rare event that happens from the wrath of the gods mod (it doesn't mean anything is happening though) and if you could see the sun you could see a silhouette of noxus! oh also the "hissing" is just part of it

The reason you're getting lag issues is because you're playing modded multiplayer
Download nitrate mod. It fixes a majority of the frame rate issues.
tried nitrate and it didnt do anything, will try again
@@mintgamingterraria Always have it enabled btw, even if it didn't do anything. Over time, the frame rates become a stable 60FPS as you play. Me and my friend had this on a mega modded world and even in post ML, there was barely any frame drops.
