My Shohei Ohtani story is basically how he got me more into baseball than I’ve ever been. Baseball has always been my favorite sport, but really declined in interest in the last 10-15 years: no 20 game winning pitchers, no.300 hitters, don’t like the expanded postseason, and when MLB put the DH in the NL, and the pitch clock and new rules, I thought I would be relegated to a very casual fan, maybe catching some Dodgers highlights… Shohei Ohtani shattered all of that for me, his playing for the Dodgers has me so excited about my Dodgers, that I just don’t care about any of those issues! I’m all in for Shohei Ohtani and my Los Angeles Dodgers! LGDODGERS 2024 WS Champions 💙❗️💙❗️
Shohei has attracted interest from countries all over the world. Even from countries that generally don't care about baseball. Shohei wins, baseball wins.

Not a Dodger fan but I respect there history very much. If they don’t win World Series they need a new voice in the dugout maybe Skip Shumacher way to much talent not to win. I’m a fan of Shohei he is great for the game.
Why the 'if they don't win this yr' ultimatum? They're clearly not the most talented roster, nor the betting favorites going into these playoffs given their injuries and pitching staff situation.
Dodgers don't have enough starting pitching left healthy to be a world series favorite. To win a world series all your stars need to align at the right time, the best teams don't always win!
@@AY2121-i4ythe Dodgers roster was deliberately constructed to have an even-keeled workman-like culture. Mookie, Freddie, Kershaw, Will Smith, et al., all fit this mold. I’m glad Shohei displays the kind of fire and emotion the team needs.
Flaherty has been solid and Yamamoto had two bad outings. I'm 100%, baring him not feeling right, he will step it up in the playoffs. He has the track record of being a big game pitcher.
don’t disrespect yamamoto and flaherty like that, but after that, they don’t have much. the offense has to carry them or they’re definitely out early again.
@@ayydubs987 No disrespect but neither are ready for the playoffs at the present moment. Let's see after this series if I eat my words... but I don't think so. Padres' are a far better team at the present moment.
@@timotmonflaherty out pitched cease last night. Not by much but I think one less run one less hit. I agree with you the Dodgers have some real pitching challenges but you never know. That's why they play the games! I mean who would have ever guessed the Padres would turn their first triple play in 14 years to win game one on Tuesday?
AJ's bit everytime he interacts with Ken has grown tiresome and annoying. He must have a real lack of self awareness on how unimpressive he comes across as a host specifically during these type of exchanges with Ken.
Great plan and just before post-season. And who will take roberts spot? Regardless of where peoples opinions on how far dodgers do or don't go. Hey maybe dodgers will sell the team to John Fisher how does that sound?

What we all came here for
Shohei has attracted interest from countries all over the world. Even from countries that generally don't care about baseball. Shohei wins, baseball wins.
Countries like Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Indonesia are huge Ohtani fans, and they don't even play baseball over there

Dodgers need that killer instinct. Most of the captains are too layback

playoff Ohtani finally!!!!
David Bell had to take the train to Scapegoat City
This Aj and Ken thing gets old fast. DOES AJ add anything enlightening?
Unfortunately Ohtani's Dodgers are rudderless without a single decent pitcher to put on the mound. First round exit again.
Othani will pitch. Hold my sake.

I feel you, but for me it’s something that was funny at first, then super annoying, and now it’s come all the way back around to funny again 😂
Fire Dave Roberts
For what?

They have to talk to ohtani first. It is in his contract top management change his contract changes too
@@demi7733 Roberts contract wasn't a part of that negotiation, only Andrew Friedman and Mark Walter.
Can’t wait for playoff Ohtani.
