Fourstones Papermill was established in 1700s too! 1763 to be exact, origianlly making paper for books we now make tissue paper for wiping products. We are one of the oldest papermills that still operate in the UK, Luckily our buildings don't have grass growing in the inside like The Danescombe Valley paper mill does in your video. Our website is www.fourstonespapermill.co.uk if you want to learn more about our history.
I love watching all your videos. I have seen all of your videos several times. BUT this is my favorite video im not really sure why, maybe cause it is a great location. Anyways i hope you keep making videos. This is the video that got me into FPV. thanks
Cracking flying Jab, really enjoyed that and liked the alternate exterior shots as well. Didn't know you were such a leaner, if only we could harness that energy of you shuffling about everywhere :)
Haha cheers CK ;) I got such an adrenaline rush from this flight. I normal stand while flying FPV my mindset is Im flying 3rd person so that I don't sway too much but if I sit down I get full emersion and feel like i'm inside the quad. Also I find if there is a lot of wind in the area effecting my flight then I try and learn to counteract the push of the wind (wind pushing the quad not me) which feels weird.
That is the coolest thing I have ever seen on youtube. I have been using cheapo quads for a while and just brought a jjrc 686 to try fpv but if this is in my future I am one happy bunny!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The most expensive part of it are the FPV video goggles. A simple quadcopter ( 250mm ) costs around 200,00 us$. And it is the most exciting hobby you can imagine !.
Geez that's tight, good thumbs on the sticks! P.S. I wave side to side as well and "steer" my radio, more than you do, but now I see how funny that looks from the outside LOL
Hey, recently I have been looking for frames and set-ups that can have a good battery life and good video taking capabilities, but also able to go fast when I want to mess around. Does this set-up go very fast?
Curtis Pons The flight video is from a camera on a RealFPV Spanky Mini Quadcopter frame, its an excellent bit of kit which you tailor with electronics to your own needs or likes. Starting from scratch for this you would be looking at about £600-£800. Get yourself a Hubsan X4 to see if you even like flying first to save you a lot of time and money ;)
This was an awesome video. Not sure why you have seven dislikes!!!! Can't please everyone I guess. Can you please share your mobius cam settings. Mine switches from light to extreme dark while filming. Please tell me what I can do to prevent this ? Thank you in advance. Subscribed !
Imagine if they had had these when the World Trade Center was on fire, driving drones like up the stairwells and into rooms looking for people... or into other burning buildings... with some audio in / speaker out so you could go up to people and communicate to them... tell them what to do, etc... or just view the place of impact from the inside. I think the best use of drones is going to be in suddenly.. or not so suddenly... hazardous environments.
Nice! It'd be really cool if you could feed this footage into some software that would produce a 3d model from it. (I've been playing with 123d catch on my phone, but it only does photos)
this is amazing, I am getting addicted only by watching your videos :) Do you have a link (a list) with the spanky components that you use, including the transmitter and fpv googles? many thanks and keep up this amazing hobby!
I think we have a winner here! Video of the week! Awesome flight performance :O How many times did you try before achieving the entirely flight? Million of thumbs up for you! Happy new week
I had two full flights around this ruin, the second flight being the video shown above. There was a third flight but one of the magnets in the motor came loose which stopped the flight in the first few moments. No props were harmed in the making of this video ;)
Like Will Hain said: >Will Hain2 days ago (edited) >What vtx you running? The penetration is amazing! Well, if you could see where you were going all that time haha It looks like you're using 5.8ghz and I wouldn't have expected it to penetrate those walls so well. Do share!
Thank you MyDroneHub, I started LOS while I saved for goggles etc for FPV, its also good to get some muscle memory in basic control LOS for safety before jumping into FPV just in case you lose video feed during a flight.
RagdollOnCrack This is a RealFPV Spanky 5 mini Quadcopter frame, there is also a larger 6" version now which is just as good, not sure it would do so well in this location though lol
Massimo Giardina the frame is a RealFPV Spanky 5. With these mini quads you pick your frame and then decide what electronics you want to use, get yourself a Hubsan X4 to see if you like flying to save money and then progress on from there
Thank you Lewis, that was my spotter for these flights, it was not safe for him inside and he could make sure he saw anyone approach the site with plenty of warning. He takes excellent photo's of my flights... ruclips.net/user/camsump
Mate so sick. I found you off r/multicopter today with your 4 way racing vid. I've just built myself an emax 250 cf and only a week or two away from having it airborne, 4 weeks away from FPV! What camera, Vrx antenna and fat sharks are you using for FPV?

Cheers Robo. Try standing up when you fly, that stops me from swinging around most of the time ;)
He he, I do stand, only lately started practicing to sit down:) Cheers, happy flying!
ROBOFORCERX2000 It is strange, the first few times I sat down I almost felt sea sick which was weird lol
WOW!!

good music choice kept me till the end of the video

Fantastic video - thanks for sharing. Did you learn FPV after learning how to fly a drone by sight, or start straight out with FPV flying?
Thank you MyDroneHub, I started LOS while I saved for goggles etc for FPV, its also good to get some muscle memory in basic control LOS for safety before jumping into FPV just in case you lose video feed during a flight.
jab1a How long have you been flying drones? Great piloting in this video.
WHERE CAN I GET THIS?!?!?!?
And also how much did it cost in all to get it up and running?
what type of drone do you have
RagdollOnCrack This is a RealFPV Spanky 5 mini Quadcopter frame, there is also a larger 6" version now which is just as good, not sure it would do so well in this location though lol
What model is it? Can you leave a link to eBay or Amazon? Thanks =D

Okay thank you
jab1a Where I live, almost all Hubsan X4 are on big sales. The fpv is $20 more than the original. Is it worth it for a beginner?
James, what are you flying? Any specs on your hardware? Thanks!
Hey, what´s the resolution of your googles?
uma gawwd! Dat's sik!!!
Amazing flying as usual, also who was that guy stood outside?
Thank you Lewis, that was my spotter for these flights, it was not safe for him inside and he could make sure he saw anyone approach the site with plenty of warning. He takes excellent photo's of my flights... ruclips.net/user/camsump
Hahn I see, I subbed to him, also do you fly in manual mode, or stabilised?
I mean to say ahhhh not Hahn, stupid auto correct
was this filmed with the keychain camera attached to your quadcopter?
I agree, this vid never gets old. :) Noob question: Are you flying acro? I'm just getting into fpv... afraid of acro at the moment. :)
Mate so sick. I found you off r/multicopter today with your 4 way racing vid. I've just built myself an emax 250 cf and only a week or two away from having it airborne, 4 weeks away from FPV!

Forgive me my ignorance, but this works with like a gasoline or with battery?
Battery yes and brushless motors.
MrLunithy do you know how much time does it last ? I mean, the autonomy
flight time can be 5 min to 12 min depending on your configuration and flying, check out "RC Groups forum . com"
Great! Tnxs for the info MrLunithy
Brill vid. :-) works great. mice one.
Jab, please contact me again - need you at the show!
Awesome!
Thank you Eva Cheung
Awesome, where are u doing ur next video and what date?
