The interviewer was so great! I liked the questions she asked and she seemed to be a good listener. I thought the actors felt comfortable with her. They had a good time!!

Yes. She’s an icon. She gives the best interviews for all films. Always well researched, knowledgeable, asks incredible questions, etc etc etc. She’s incredible.
Zendaya mentions having her own hair and makeup team as being important, but didn’t lean into why. But I assume it’s because, as a black woman, she’s used to being on sets with makeup artists and stylists who do not know how to do makeup for her skin tone or do not know how to manage and treat her hair etc.
Jacqueline Coley is my top interviewer! If you look at most of the casts interviews, Mike Faist rarely speaks, and the interviewers just leaves him be, but he is engaged here. In all of her interviews, she emgages each actor, and transitions from question to question so smoothly. Great interview!
I agree she definitely knows how to passively get to the core and root of where these vampires come from and relate to humanity sympathizes w us for sure

I noticed that too! She asked him great questions about craft and process which understandably seems to be the only topics that perk him up and excite him. As opposed to gimmicky games etc. Kudos Jacqueline!
I have noticed that about him. I think maybe because he's still fairly new to film acting, he hasn't learned how to be comfortable in an interview yet. You see him shifting awkwardly a lot and making "thinking" faces that he probably doesn't realize he's making. Especially while the others are talking, I think he forgets there is still a camera on him too. Good for this interviewer gently pulling him out of his shell.
It’s pretty hard to steal the show when Zendaya is in the room. That interviewer was a star

I get tired of seeing it online because this movie is so much more than that one scene... I can't imagine how tired of it they must be by now, especially knowing all the work they put into the whole thing.

2. Seeing Zendaya and Josh just hyping Mike's tennis skills was so heartwarming, and I honestly I am going to miss this trio and this press tour soo bad 🥺😭
3. Mike has no business looking THAT good in this interview. istg I just kept on taking screenshots like I am taking pics in a concert, because jfc he's sooo hot.
Definitely glad the trio will be done and she can get back to rejoicing in her life with her family and her Love, Tom Holland. Too many of us commented on seeing her do things she rarely does on interviews, like put her arm around an actor, like she did with Mike on one of the shots. I love that she had boundaries based on her relationship, and this became awkward for anyone knowing she has always been respectful of her own relationship. Josh has such a great face and great vibe. Completely respectful to Z and her boyfriend.

I love how Zendaya explains "THE" scene. People forget this is a movie! And they try to ask like "what was that like" she humbles them by saying what happens. NOTHING. They split and its pretend. But people make it to much.

I actually forgot while watching the movie that O'Connor is British, so I was a bit startled hearing his accent just now, but that's the beauty of acting I suppose. Faist has a new fan in me. He has a great career ahead of him and I'm happy for him. He was of course brilliant in WSS, but glad to see his growth in this as well. Zendaya is Zendaya, full stop - nothing more to say. She actually reminded me of JLo in some of her no nonsense scenes.
Yes she suffers from anxiety and although she tries to appear confident in these interviews she says herself the more anxious she is the more she talks

Excellent interview, non pretentious yet a geniune insight of brilliant young actors with deep reflection. Thoroughly enjoyed the interviewer her angle and sincere well thought out questions!!! It's interesting that Zendaya wanted Tashi to have a close relationship with her family. I feel based on how narcissistic and emotionally unavailable her character was that she would have some sort of unstable home life. Just my take on it.

There are interviews that I really like, like this mone and ITV, but Mike is sometimes...ugh. Now, one interviewer asked them ALL about practicing tennis and Mike jumped 'don't talk down to Zendaya, she's good!'. I was in schock, she addressed them ALL! I saw comments disabled which meant the interview was a trainwreck. I couln't watch it after that crazy Mike's agressive answer.
Please, If anyone wathched it - was the interviwer (middle aged woman) so bad and evil?? What went down?

Really awkward that Zendaya who generally doesn't get too close during press tours with the male actors, but she sat closer to the lighter hair actor Mike, Mike who supposedly has a crush on her in real life, so it was awkward an uncomfortable to watch her arm brushing or often brushing his. Just didn't seem like her regular respect of her own real life relationship with Tom.. just something I noticed.
I noticed it too. In fact, it's too obvious in other their interviews, imo. Her body language seems different from many interviews that she had done before challengers.
