Spent loads putting it right and enjoy every moment in it. Granted i don't live more than a couple of nights in it per trip but the idea was about doing everything on a budget. Like you i do nearly all my own servicing, wouldn't want to swap it. 👍

Stay positive and live how you so want as long as your happy. There will always be someone with negative comments or looking down on you but try to take something positive from it if you can as we are all different and try to move forward and up from our own life experiences. Your van is what you had at the time and you made it how you could with what you had, you decided on what was important and what was not, and thought it about stuff others would have thought was not important and yet didnt get stuck when it froze over. My only concern was your a sparky and did all the electrics but did not concider the cables rubbing in a rattle van over time and the prospect of a short causing a fire or failure. I know you have fused stuff to ensure its safe but thats my take as someone looking over our shoulder and commenting and admit im not a sparky and live in a house. Stay safe and be happy!
