Everyone who thumbs this game down came in here expecting GTA or even Mad Max. It's not. It's basically Metal Max with an Akira Toriyama flavor. And that's not a bad thing.
I don't get this game I go into a area and destroy the enemies and it tells me to use a machine to jump onto rocks so I find the jumping machine I mean I picked the jumping machine but he doesn't jump high enough he just floats he doesn't jump high enough to get onto the rocks to get the items that I need and I'm freaking frustrated with this demo can somebody tell me what's going on
The people tell me to use a Mac to jump onto the high rocks but I use the machine the one that actually jumps but he just floats and doesn't jump high enough
@@purexboxcan you please help me out can you please tell me what's going on with this game I swear I'm picking the Mack that jumps that can actually jump but he doesn't jump high enough he just floats so I don't know what the hell what they're talking about
I only found out about this game a couple months ago. I know the demo was extremely lite on content and not a good representation of the game. I’m excited for this game.
I always thought that same thing. Maybe they are brothers or something. I mean after all, Akira Toriyama did make a universe of characters. So it doesnt surprise me that others look similar.
Well you just got a new subscriber because I play on Xbox anyways you actually cleared everything up without you talking about it I finally know it's not the same machine that you get in the demo to jump on the rocks I truly appreciate this video you don't know how much because it really freaking frustrated me
Unsurprisingly, Sand Land has plenty of sand. ReCore gave me a surprising fondness for such environments and with Akira Toriyama's art style at play, it has a real appealing look. 0:38 - Both Sand Land here and Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes have a slight tragic element in the recent passings of Akira Toriyama and Yoshitaka Murayama. A strange case of them releasing within the same week. Rest in peace to them. 1:51 - Akira Toriyama really expanded on that Nam plotline from Dragon Ball with this water drought focused story. The designs are great and instantly recognisable as Akira Toiryama's art. 3:19 - Not super keen on the open level design and given the sandy nature of it's design, I wonder about how easy it will be to navigate. Deserts aren't know for their frequency of landmarks to ensure you know where you are going (area looks a little too vast). 4:38 - Shame about the targeting issue; seems the camera needed to be sped up there. Still, the slowdown and hover to that attack did allow ample time to aim Beelzebub here. 4:58 - Whoa; that was a smooth swap between vehicles! 6:15 - Given it's only a single volume manga, they've managed to cram in quite a few different gameplay styles to it.
I couldn't get to the high enough rocks what is going on can somebody help me because I do want to buy this game but I'm frustrated with the demo I can't jump high enough to get onto the highway rocks when it clearly tells me to use a mick that can jump but I used to make that can jump and still can't get to high enough rocks to get the items that I need
Reviews are all over the place. Probably best to wait until it reaches sub 25 dollars. Odyssey and Kakarot didn't take long to get there if not right out free on a sub.
Have to agree with @JJGateway01 As much as I want to be that guy to say support Sandland. (Or even stellar blade looks good too) armored core would definitely have more content overall. Sandland looks to be lengthy too but I guess it depends on what you are more in the mood to play to be honest.

Great review, I agree with the 8, Ign prasied this game throughout their review then unfairly gave it a 6. This game is a return to old school ps2 era jrpgs with fresh mechanics and a cool story. It brings back a lot of sentimental nostalgia. Its just a lot of fun.
I hate how you have to keep pressing the X button on ps5 to keep the dialogue going. How tedious. Sometimes you press it and the character only delivers one word or a grunt before you have to press it again. I also hate how they keep repeating the same things over and over while you are driving around. Just why? Why? And how he says "I'll keep this. I may need it." EVERY single time you pick something up, or "Here we go" when you climb something. Fifty times. A hundred times. A thousand times. And when you loot a chest the text is so small you can't even read it so you don't even know what you're getting. Oh, and don't forget your side characters constantly telling you how to solve puzzles before you even have five seconds to think about it just in case you are that stupid. If you can even call them puzzles. "Look. There's some junk in the way. Maybe we should shoot it with our tank!" Duuuh. Would never have figured that out myself pal. I hate how, when you get out of your tank and take five steps away from it, it disappears, so now you have to go into the menu again, find it again and produce it again. Why??? These annoying things were a conscious decision that they made. They intentionally put these things in the game for some reason. And don't even get me started on the music. At least you can turn that off in the options menu unlike the endless repetitive banter.
@@ravereviews6853 -- I keep plugging along hoping it picks up but they couldn't have made a more boring game if they tried, the pacing is soooooo slow.
$70 for a 11hr main campaign. Are you kidding me?? I'll get more value taking a minimum wage job and working 11hrs. And have money to spare. These reviews are just glorified commercials.
Will you be picking up Sand Land this week? and have you watched/read the anime/manga before? - Craig
I'm saving my money for preordering upcoming games at SGF
Next Friday definitely
Just bought It.
For $29.99 I couldn't say no.

I'm watching the series now and I definitely plan on buying the game, especially after playing the demo.
Wish this channel was bigger. Best for Xbox content and reviews 💚
This comment made my day. Thank you ☺ - Craig

Lucifer looking like Dabura. 😊
it is Dabura

Do it for Toriyama
NO!
Buy what you like
He is dead lol he doesnt care
no if you won’t enjoy it, do it for yourself not for someone else
This was an average, if not, below average game. If Toriyama didn't make this, I don't think anyone would have bat an eye.
yes sand land is amazing so far
8 out of 10 for me ❤

Does the game adapt the manga story or the anime extended one? Or is it something different ?
i mean the forest land (which is in the game) is an extension of the story
I’ll cop this come holiday season. I’m waiting on Visions of Mana.
I ordered off Amazon and it will get here tomorrow but only time will tell when i get to play it.
sounds like a decent game between games and being a smaller game
Belzebubs father is that demon from buu saga😅
Dabura?

ILCA showing that the major issues with Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl were almost certainly due to GameFreak holding them back.
