Very nice! I appreciate you trying “no filter” out and sharing the results.

      Thanks much appreciated
I do believe it’s easier and better way to keep a fish.

Your plants look so great, it almost looks like fake plants. Impressive algae free tank.

It’s actually quite easy to achieve it and just about anyone can do it.

Do you have dirt under sand snd that is your filter?

      No dirt in this tank.
As I mentioned in the video tank was 2nd hand and came with sand substrate already.
I’ve topped it up with bit more sand and put the plants in.

I did the same thing... have a 20 gal i was given with a few fish. Saw a father fish video... i went "duh... that makes sense". I just tossed some shit from a pond and about 20 or so plants in and stoped cleaning it lol. Feed min... and watch the algae eaters go nuts. I recently bought a fish from a "not to be named" big store and was gonna take it back because when i looked in the bag it was obviously not doing well. Inflamed gills weak, etc. i was gonna take it back but then i thought it would prob get better in my tank. Lol it has.

That’s good to hear. It has really been surprising how well everything was going. Fish and plants
No my mission is to see if I can succeed and do the same thing in my Oscar tank. 🤞
