    Granted, you are a better player than me, but there are two ways I reduced my munitions with this commander. PMD-6 mines may be the most cost effective mines in the game and also, for your cons, if they are doing nothing spam out flare mines. Not only they are good at removing a model but it really does help spotting for the 120mm Mortar.

      You are right! I certainly could have made much better use of those munitions. I do not play this commander often so it was unfamiliar to me to be doing that, but it's definitely what I should have been doing throughout :)

    hey stormless, I don't play USSR that often but why not ram the KT at 32:50?

      You can't ram if you are engine damaged. It might have been an option when I got to low health if I wasn't engine damaged but personally I prefer having the rear armor hit chance. When you ram, you get a main gun destroyed critical, there's also that horrible chance you might get abandoned :P

    Why didn't you equip your Penal Battalions with their PTRS upgrades? It would've been useful to send them out with more anti-tank, no?

      It reduces their anti-infantry ability when you lose two of the rifles in place of a PTRS. The beauty of the penal battalion is that they (at least in the last patch) are incredibly good against infantry and if you remove 2 rifles then you lose 40% of that squads AI efficiency.
      The idea of this commander is that you keep your penal battalions doing what they are good at and bring out a light AT gun to cover for you not going for T2 AT guns. This allows you to keep light vehicles at bay and continue your huge anti-infantry pressure!
      That's my reasoning for it :)

      Well now they lost Satchel under tracks ability if you dont have the PTRS upgrade

    I love commanders that cover up a Tech. Soviet Defensive replace Tier2. USF Armor company replace Major. USF tactical support replace Lieutenant.
    To me Soviet counter attack can even skip Tier3 Tier4, to boost all infantry & weapon teams fight at their limit with KV1 support (too bad KV1 locked in Tier4 now)

    So many Russian tanks lost for nothing, am I missing something was there not plenty of time to pull back the tanks and repair them? Was there not enough time to bring up an AT gun?

      I think you can see around 30 mins in that I am repairing them. But no, not in this build. The AT gun is not a usual AT gun but the light AT gun. I was trying to capitalise on the advantage I had with so many armor pieces on the field whilst my opponent had none. It was just taking the advantage I had and aiming to do as much damage as possible

      Oh, I see. I only started playing this game about a month ago. I play USF only. I haven't played a single game on anything else so I've been watching and asking questions about other countries so I don't have to actually play them. Thanks for the response.

    what does it take to kill the a okw squad ??!!! even if ur rifles are in cover they are the ones who loose...?! Men of war ANY DAY!!!

    • @StormlessUK
      @StormlessUK  6 лет назад

      Theo Pot OKW are good at long range. You need to use indirect fire to bring them out of cover or take their health down then move in. Close range weapons are lethal to OKW if you can get there
