I just saw this movie for the first time last week and thought everyone was great in this movie, especially Ally. I loved how weird she was and the different facial expressions she had throughout. I really like the part when she takes the knife off of the chair. She's a pretty good dancer too.
I love this movie, and watch it over and over. I will never forget 1 line from this movie that Ally Sheedy said about when we get old - "your heart dies." That line has stuck with me for over 20 years, and I try to live my life, so I can disprove that line - because I know it's so true, that when people get older, their sense of compassion, and passion for life dries up. Yeah she was FANTASTIC until the make over. And to think this movie is supposed to be about accepting differences. I like Shrek and Shallow Hal for not doing the whole "I fixed you so I can be with you" thing. In Shallow Hal its more like "I fixed me so I can appreciate you."
I have 5 kids , and no way in hell. Im gonna treat them bad, like 00.10 and pushin them to do something bad. So they get into detention and so on, i respect my childrens privacy. I always knock before entering their rooms, and when they say its ok . I soundproofed the basement livingroom, so they can play on my drums and other kind of music equipment. I do anything for my children, the girls borrows my spikes,GOTH and other kind of make up and other kind of clothes that is around in the house.
