Hello again dear friends, I'm Danny Paun and I'm pleased to present you my new film about an epic country...Romania! Here we are after a few months with another production that showcases a bit of Romania's nature and beauty. It took us a while in getting this ready just in time for a special day, 1st December, Romania's National Day. LA MULŢI ANI ROMÂNIA!
This time around, we've been hiking the high Carpathian Mountains to get some (hopefully) breath-taking visuals and emphasis on the natural beauty of Romania. Apart from the lovely city of Brasov, we also visit some beautiful villages of Transylvania to film some really amazing fortified churches and fortresses that this part of the world has to offer, it just feels like we were back in time while over there, everything so pure and peaceful. It's been a few months in the making of this production and it was filmed in two seasons, from summer days of July and august to not so hot days of October and November... We'll definitely plan to make a winter edition as it's quite unique over there too :)
Some of the places we've filmed around Brasov: Fagaras Fortress, Rupea Fortress, Viscri fortified Church, Bucegi Mountains, Transfagarasan Road, Peles Castle, Sighisoara and others...

I'm not lying, this made me cry! This video is one of few that makes you realize how much we should cherish what we have. I hate the freaking stereotypes and propaganda seen in Western Europe about Romania and it's people. It's a breathtaking country with gorgeous people!

Was in Brasov a few weeks ago, it's really stunning perhaps even more so than is shown in the video, can't understand why more British tourists don't visit. Can't wait to go back!

+This is Why Romania! Yes I know what you mean regarding the media in the UK. I think there is a real snobbery towards Eastern Europe in many countries, which is completely wrong. The area around Brasov is very beautiful, the people were friendly, lots to see and do, and food etc is very good value for money; yet when you say to most people you are going to Romania they look at you as if you are holidaying in Mordor! But I have been encouraging lots of people to go and see it for themselves rather than make judgement on media scare stories.

I live in Brasov since 4 years. You don’t see the beauty of this country at first glance. But with every visit you will fall in love more and more! I recommend MK Apartments- take one Penthouse with jacuzzi and every evening you will have the stunning view to the mountains.

I was in Brasov Romania for 3 months for official visit.Totally love the city and its surroundings. Here people are very friendly. Would love to visit it again.
I lived in a lot of countries in Europe.UK,Belgium,Finland,Sweden and much more,but Romania has something special for me...the most gorgeous places in Europe...You have a lot of mountains,the black sea,danube delta,a lot of vintage places that makes you feel like you live in tha past away from this mad society nowadays in many countries.It is something special with this country and has very welcoming people.I don’t know why is underrated this country,maybe the west don’t want to become Romania maybe the best place to live in Europe and they use this propaganda with gypsies, thiefs, and much more.This year I will do the best decision in my live.I want to move to Romania permanently.Peace and love my romanians.

Dacă Dumnezeu ar pogorî cerul pe pământ şi ar transforma ploaia în izvoare iar păsările ar cânta pământului imnul inimii şi-al iubirii pentru aceste meleaguri, tot nu ar egala tot ce este aici în frumuseţe. Dacă timpul s-ar număra printre copacii pădurilor iar vântul ar şuiera trecerea vieţii, în cetăţile trecutului unde chiar dacă ar învia strămoşii, tot nu ai simţii mai mult decât cei încă viu în văile şi munţii noştrii! Se aud dacii … se aud zimbrii … se aude cum mugetul lor asurzesc zările. Aici vei putea culege picături de tăcere între catedrale de piatră şi piscuri, ce-şi plecă fruntea-n ţărâna străveche. Aici sunt clipe când acest loc şopteşte cerului, cu plecăciune-n rugăciune, moment în viaţă de trecere în altă lume. Acesta-i Braşovul!
Străinule! Vino aici şi numărăţi viaţa-n aceste clipe!

Dar mi-a trecut. Acum dorul de casa e inlocuit de tristete si suparare. Anul acesta am fost in Brasov, am locuit in cartierul Florilor. M-am simntit straina la mine acasa.

My dream is to visit Romania some day. There are so many places to explore that a trip can last a lifetime. I will start in Brasov and branch out from there. Brasov Sign on side of mountain, cable cars, City Square, Black Church, even ski resort. From Constanta on Black Sea all the way to Romania's western border, and everything in between.
