Nope. Cianne can sing tho. But if you listen closely, her voice is a bit shaky. And when the song was about to finish, she sang it like she just want the song to end. I think she's just nervous in this performance. But she's a great singer compared to the last contestant. Because she, on the other hand, just knows how to carry a tune. Her performance is very dull and lifeless.
@@petchai4814 Well to be fair these, are not really singers, and kudos to the show for not trying to autotune them. Most professional Filipino singers are very good and don't need autotune, and I don't think they use it on most of the Filipino singing competition shows, well I'm not quite sure about all of the variety shows. However, I think most of the singing competition shows in the United States do use it , particularly The Voice and America's Got Talent (maybe not so much American Idol, except in the prerecorded episodes, which is one reason the contestants almost always sound so much worse when it comes live shows, where they may not use autotune, or if they do are more limited in what they can do with live autotune.
PS Someone on Quora who claims to have been involved in production on The Voice, or something related, claims that they do not autotune--it's also one of the comments that is behind a paywall except for the first two or three paragraphs. If they do not actually autotune, they do some sort of processing that enhances the sound of the voice. It may be that they run it through the Autotune or Melodyne process without any pitch correction, which gives it that sort of shimmer you here all the time which doesn't really sound like a natural voice.
