Yes... As a ending critic. Its a bit of a saving grace for me, because It reinforces the goal that was stated at the begin of the series and confirms it's success. That deserves a round of applause 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

especially with that light music surrounding it. It sounds as if this is the ending of a great fairy tale, like in a thousand years, people have forgotten the history and it all becomes a bedtime story about monsters that parents tell their kids at night. Which figures since the origins of most of our irl fairy tales were pretty gruesome and ugly, but it's all okay since, in your parent's version, there's a happy ending, and the kids go to sleep safe at night...never having to feel the fear of being trampled by Titans.
It's amazing that they mix every other song they done together and still sounds like magic.
I was happy with SIM’s Rumbling and Under the Tree as the final openings, but ending it with Linked Horizons just feels so right, like we came full circle.

really reflects eren's conversation with armin, if you ask me
Eren is full of determination to commit genocide. He is fully aware that what he is doing is cruel and heartless but that is what he believe that is the right thing to do to save his people. That is what he believe. But he also knows that not many people will agree with him. And he also believe that Armin will always do the right thing to save the world and that is to kill him. He accept it, and declare himself as the enemy of the world. He also knows that the only one who can kill him is Mikasa, Armin and the gang. And maybe he is also secretly begging them to kill him. Because he knows that he can't live and accept the kind of world the others wants to live in. Because he can't let go of his past. And to me, that is Eren's biggest tragedy. Because of this, he can't live in the future.
Linked Horizon's first song for AoT was Guren no Yumiya. The official album they made for the series 1st season starts with Armin's VA telling on the first chapter phrase, when you see the colossal appear (humanity being scared, how they were trapped inside a cage, etc). Now, they got to make the last opening for the series, and as you finish it, you can hear Armin ending the story telling.
Not only is Linked Horizon so special bc they were on aot since the start, but because they make these things. I wouldn't have thought that they were gonna close the last song with the end of the story in Armin's pov, wich started long ago on their first album (2016 if I'm not wrong)

Linked Horizon repertory of songs for this series is literally how Armin tells the tale to the people on the future :)

@@asianpersuasion4901Considering Isayama said the anime is the true final version of his story, I don’t think so. He's played a fairly big role in the anime's production since day 1.
@@OnMyLunchBreak07 bullshit, eren's flaming titan was a convenient plot hole, hell, eren literally running across town to punch annie who just stood there is a plot hole too. in the manga, eren transformed right under annie to punch her. same goes for how they changed the ending of season 1 regarding the wall titans, then pretended it never happened in season 2. then there's how season 3's plot points were rearranged which also caused plot holes too.
authors will never mention correct these plot holes that I bring up because 1) it makes them look like an asshole 2) its technically not a big deal, doesn't affect the plot HUGELY. But regardless, the fact that these obvious plot holes exists is proof that "author's involvement" doesn't instantly make the story the definitive version the author wanted.
The opening even forshadowing of Armin survival and witness from beginning to the end of war. Its amazing actually how it all plan from 10 years ago.
Didn’t think they’d be able to do it, but they made a song that hones in on The Final Chapters but stays broad enough to apply to the entire final season. Bravo!
Hearing Armin at the end say “And He Wiped Out The Titans From This World” gave me goosebumps! I just love how they incorporated his Voice into this ending like they did Eren’s name in the Season 1 opening! The SIM songs were my favorite but you can’t go wrong with Linked Horizon they are special to Attack on Titan for those reasons!

Right I miss studio WIT. To be honest change of studio really spoilt it for me. It just doesn't feel the same as before. I love it but it make me avoid it until this final movie come out. So I just marathon the season 4 to the final part. Just because I want to see it until the end

During 1-3 it was more colorful/flashy because at that time they still had so much hope that they would kill all the titans. Then in season 4 the animation becomes more hyper realistic, because at this time they realised they grim reality they were facing
@@iamnobody350 To me, it's not about the color, but the art and the camera angle work. I mean, I agree about the color is being darker in season 4 is good, it fit the situation even. But, you can noted the difference in animation between WIT studio and MAPPA studio. And I don't like it.

I love this song so much, how it references every single intro and outro until now.
Some of the past ones felt more heroic, while others were more terrifying, but this song pretty much nails the feeling of "The end of the story is near"

Eren is a tragic character man....at start he watched his mother eaten infront of him and atlast he got killed by Mikasa...my man didn't catch any break 💔💔

Technically...yes. But the source of all titan creation ( the hallucigenia) wasn't destroyed, meaning they can come back. As far as Armin knows the titan issue is over.

No idea. The hallucigenia was fighting Reiner, Annie, and Pieck. Then it disappeared. Mikasa was holding on to Eren's head the entire way back to paradise island. Eren was burried and the tree started growing in size way after anyone we knew died. Why, when, and how did the hallucigenia end up under the tree is anyone's guess. Only Isayama knows.

In 3:13 he said to everyone that they are not a friend and he wants (at 3:19) that everyone treat shingeki or attack or himself (because he is the attack titan / shingeki no kyoujin) as an invader.
