I'm pretty sure he speaks English in private. He wouldn't be this fluent in pronunciation if he doesn't practice saying words in English. And I think the reason why he can pronounce greatly is because he's smart. (I'm not saying other members aren't smart) Plus he watches English movies so he mighg learnt from it :>>
Just like how some of us memorize korean songs, Kyungsoo memorizes english songs that's why when he sings in english he is so fluent unlike when he is having a conversation in english. His conversational english is kinda broken but his pronunciation is so good, if not great.

There are many more interviews that EXO members basically said the same thing, Kyungsoo was the member who changed the most after debut, he became more reserved, quiet and shy. He would go months without speaking much or even smiling, making his members worried. Even Lay said he was worried about Kyungsoo in 2016. But he improve, he overcame his stage fright, he used to have really bad stage fright, but over the years he gained more confidence and experience on stage and he doesn’t have it anymore. Funnily enough, after enlisting, he became more talkative and outgoing lol, the members said that he never been so excited for a comeback like he was during Obsession. And that he’s a new person now lol. I’m glad that he’s happy and at easy again. I think he needed a period away from the show business to recharge.

I love his English song covers and conversing in English language. It only shows how much he loves his international fans. Hats off to him for giving a lot of effort in learning other languages to warm his fan's heart. It amazes me how he looks at his fans individually and made sure that everyone has a piece of him to remember by when they go to sleep. Putting smile on their faces was such an achievement for him. Thanks D.O. you're the man. Don't be afraid to show what else you got under your sleeve talentwise. We support you all the way no matter what.
