By far, the biggest sin for me was not being able to fight Deathstroke in melee. The boss fight in Origins is one of my favourite in any video game :'(

He may be one of Batman's most powerful rogues but anyone who's by themselves will most likely crumble when a bunch of lower-tier men have been thrown at you, this of course depends on your combat ability that of which Mr Freeze definitely lacks. His technology and strategy is where he excels in battle, but if a modern day military American soldier carrying the basic type of gun American soldier's use (Google won't give me a straight answer) fought a cavemen that used an axe, the cavemen can still win if they get the ambush on the soldier. Mr Freeze can still lose to an ambush of lower-tier men very quickly -- hell, Batman does this ambush strategy all the time against Mr Freeze, the reason he takes longer is because he doesn't use guns nor is he great in numbers. This applying for Mr Freezes' strategy side too.
In this universe, Jason was taken by the Joker for 1 year, and 6 months after his disappearance Bruce made Tim Robin, so... yeah. Jason has a good reason to be pissed off.
No, Jason specifically said “for OVER a year with him” so I’m pretty sure it means he was left for one year after joker supposedly killed him

I still kinda don’t understand Jason in this game. Because originally Joker killed him and the Lazarus pit made him insane. He even said he forgives Batman for not saving him but he was mad the he allowed the Joker to live. But in this game it’s believed that Batman killed the Joker. Yeah the bat family might know the truth but it’s basically understood to the outside world that Batman killed the joker. So if there was no Lazarus pit to drive Jason crazy and it’s believed Batman killed the joker I don’t understand Jason wanting Batman dead. Jason’s gripe with Batman was never the fact Batman didn’t save him it was the fact he allowed Joker to live
Daniel McDermott so clearly you are getting all that from the under the red hood movie, just letting you know that wasn’t his ORIGINAL origin, superboy punched a crack in the universe that brought Jason back, but they simplified it for the movie so kids would understand easier.
In the Arkham universe Jason doesn’t care about wether batman killed joker or not, he’s angry that he left and in his eyes abandoned him then replaced him without even finding a body. Really I can see why Jason is mad since batman is supposed to be the worlds greatest detective but he never looked into Jason’s “death” and after he saw the video it seemed to Jason that he just gave up and eventually replaced him

I think the biggest problem with the game is that it's trying way too hard to do things differently that it almost forgets that it's a Batman game.

Here's another sin "who will protect Gotham now that Batman is dead?" Robin? Nightwing? Red Hood? They still exist. Also we know from thug Dialogue that the Flash and Superman exist. I'm pretty sure an alien god and a guy who can run faster the instant could easily get to Gotham from their cities in under a minute and take down whatever villiqn shows up. Plus through easter eggs, we know that Martian Manhunter, Hawkman and the Atom might exist and they probably don't have cities of their own to protect so they could move to Gotham and protect it. Plus Green Arrow might exist so if its needed, he could travel to Gotham and fill in since Green Arrow is pretty much Batman but with arrows. Plus you can just give Jim Gordon a mech suit and let him be Batman like in the comics. Point is, there are so many heroes who could protect Gotham if Batman dies

Okay, I've heard enough about the unmanned tanks. The real reason they are unmanned, at least from the most logical sense, is because once Scarecrow unleashes his toxin in any of the ways he has planned, there's going to be a ton of people in tanks freaking out in an uncontrollable fit of fear. It really wasn't that hard to put together

Two other reasons. One is just logistics, you could have one guy control a whole squad of tanks and that means your army and conspiracy doesn't have to be nearly as large. And reason two: Considering when that batman had to have built the tank sometime between Arkham Asylum and Arkham Knight, and with the reactions of the police and thugs and such, I have it in good faith that this is the first time he ever used it in the field. Scarecrow and the Knight never thought Batman would be able to destroy an army of tanks in the first place, so why would they put in a moral dillema to protect against a weapon they don't even know exists?
Another reason why the tanks are unmanned is possibly because the Arkham Knight WANTED Batman to do battle with the tanks. As he says in the helicopter boss battle, "I wish I could be IN that thing, but then you'd just be holding back." Knight wanted to see Batman fight and to give it his all, because Knight didn't want to beat Batman in a weakened state. He wanted to be better than Batman, and the only way to prove he was was to beat Batman on his best day.
I think I have one: If you wait long enough in the operating theater in Professor Pyg’s mission, the person he’s torturing, the person screams ‘Stop, I can’t take any more!’ And I’m just thinking ‘The singing or the surgery?’
If you turn the camera around to look at batman while he's communicating with anyone his eyes are lit up so I assume that means he's the only one who can see the video.

My guess is that it is some kind of device in his mask that enables him to see the holographic screen that can't be viewed by anyone else...and maybe he has Bat Earphones in their as well. IDK. Like you said, it is more of an inconvenience.

That sin about Batman and Robin taking off their masks when Harley can see them... I don't think that can be counted because after Robin leaves and Batman has another Joker/Jason hallucination, we end with Robin in the same place and pose as before, implying that Batman getting in the cell and taking off his mask was part of the hallucination and didn't actually happen.

The Arkham series was always supposed to be about Batman and the Joker.
Each game had to implement Joker to compensate for the plot importance:
Arkham Asylum. It was the first and they could have used any other villain to make a big game (like Batman Begins used Ra's first, then let Joker handle the second). But using Joker right away made the game more personal, and it turned out a great plot;
Arkham City. It has Strange as the main bad guy, but the Joker poisoning and his death turned out that it overshadowed the mastermind. Also Ra's being the one who funded Strange made him look even more like a number two. I overall enjoyed the game's plot a lot since it was always adding a new villain for Batman to face, and the audio files fleshed them out even more (that feature was the most interesting game feature I've seen in a game to give its characters motivations, but after this game, the feature was stripped of its interest, I'll explain for the last two games)
Arkham Origins. Made by other studio. It was a padding game to hold the hype of the production of Arkham Knight until it came out. They've had a great premise: Black Mask hears of this vigilante and hires the 8 best assassins to kill him. Then they've got confused on how to use its setting and relied on Joker to pull the strings. Since the game wanted to show how Batman came to face these lunatics, why not introduce the first time Batman face's Joker? That explains the name of the game. But Joker is too important for a side character so they've made him the lead villain, and brushed the promised premise aside (assassins being optional side missions, Black Mask being a punch bag, it's also easier to just copy the Killing Joke). The main story was enjoyable, only stand outs being Joker and Bane (and Deathstroke got a nice boos battle, but nothing else), but the rest of the gallery was really shoved aside. And you know what it could have saved them? That interview mechanic in past games (the audio files). Image Black Mask interviewing all the assassins, for us to understand their motivations. Nope, just some hobo and corrupt cops audios.
Arkham Knight. The original writer of AA and AC was Paul Dini (writer of Batman: Animated series). Without him, the plot was compromised, they've used this setting where the rest of the villains team up for a last fight, lead by Scarecrow (why him? He's no Ra's. I would have prefer the Court of Owls, they're all rich people, but ok, Jason Todd won the lottery or something) and Arkham Knight (they've lied the fans saying he's a new, made from scracth character, I remember that at the reveal trailer). The problem is that without Paul Dini they've under-utilized all villains (well, most in my opinion) and neither the audio files were good (I can't even remember on who those files on!). The only plot villains were Scarecrow, AK, the zeppelin old business man, and a really brief section for Harley with the 3 Joker victims, the rest of the gallery being transformed into repetitive 3 equal sections side missions or easy-to-miss easter eggs. And being the last Arkham game they've had to put Joker in it, to explain how Batman deals with him (apparently the cure from AC left him with PTJD). Even the last mission of the game was more about Joker, since Scarecrow was just dealt with by Gordon (when he was injecting Batman, but drama I guess), if not Jason was there too, and he was trigger happy, and maybe Azrael could have come (he's such a convoluted character in this game, compared with his promise in AC, why Paul, why did you left?), not to mention is was just Scarecrow there alone, but the premise was great at least. They've improved a lot in combat, the Batmobile, the graphics and animations, but the plot and side missions were poorly handled for missing Paul Dini.
That's my opinion essay (sorry, *have an imaginary potato*). AA and AC was great for me, AO was just to have an Arkham game every 2 years, and AK left a bad taste for miss-using Batman's villains and relying on Joker again. For me AO and AK left the exactly same disappointments, so I put them and the same grade (that of hyping a great premise that is just on the second plan of the real plot, that of romancing some more with Joker).

Keres1995 Totally agree with you. Another thing is that Arkham Knight is rated M while all the others are T. Yes batman and story is dark and grim but shouldn't be needlessly bloody and violent or cussing every five seconds. Was very disappointed with AK.. Arkham City still my favorite

Still love this game too, but I have to admit, despite you disclaiming this as for entertainment purposes only, much of what you have to say is not only legitimate but genuine problems.
The game *is* good. It was my first Arkham game and on PS4 it's a good game. But it had several flaws (the Riddler thing is just ridiculously annoying).

First off, relax, you don't have to disagree with someone by cussing at them.
Secondly, in universe, it doesn't make sense for Batman to turn into Joker, same with the victims. What I mean by that is: Why didn't the titan formula kill the victims like the hundreds it did? Why is Batman infected even after drinking from the cure made from the lazarus pit? In fact, getting Joker's personality shouldn't even be a thing. Aside from his skin and hair color he's just a normal human being, and his personality isn't based on genetics, it's mental.
So in short, Joker being here really is just unnecessary fanservice considering that in universe, Batman and the other victims shouldn't even be infected with his personality.

The Killer Croc DLC had a boss fight. I don't specifically recall if he has a health bar or not, but it's a unique encounter, and the League of Assassins DLC also greatly expands upon the assassins seen in City, with cool new NPCs, some of which are actually DUDES.

6:48 It confused me as to just HOW Batman thought that he could keep Oracle's abduction a secret from Robin? Robin could decide to contact her for some intel only for her to not respond leading him to dropping everything and heading to her tower only to find her missing.
I remember someone’s counter argument to “if the Knight knows how Batman thinks, then why not man the tanks so Batman wouldn’t blow them up” was “cuz that would ruin gameplay. That opens many more holes. If Batman doesn’t kill then why does he crush criminal’s skulls or throw them into walls or otherwise deal damage that could leave them with internal bleeding that they can die from? The game wouldn’t be fun.”
My response is you can still have fun gameplay but also have it make sense with the characters. Knight can man the tanks with people or strap citizens to them to prevent Batman from blowing it up. Batman already as a hacking mechanic in game, so the developers could have just made some kind of hacking game to take down the tanks or have Batman charge up emps to take down the tanks and then rescue the people. Something! What we got wasn’t the only solution.
Fun Fact: Professor Pyg is voiced by Dwight Schultz, the very same guy who played "Howling Mad" Murdoch in the A-Team!

No. Joker refers to killing Jason. I think in one of those missions you play as Tim. If Joker knew Jason was alive he would definitely dangle that knowledge in Batman’s face to taunt him.
Biggest sin I think we all can agree on is the off-screen BS moment where Batman shows up at the elevator only seconds after being grabbed and pulled out of the elevator by Poison Ivy's vines.

I agree with that. The joker is really annoying. Yes, he is Batman's archenemy. But it can not be so difficult to let someone else be. Or? Batman has enough enemies.
Also I would have found it great to play with Robin side by side. Or even as Robin once again. Maybe even a younger Robin. So far, all Robins were still children. That would have been funny and interesting.
