Yeah I knew of the "lizard thing" part but it slipped my mind when I wrote that part. It just seemed silly that Rowlf was the star while Kermit felt more like a bit player from the montage...sure bigger than others since he made it to this point in the 60s but really didn't show off his later personality outside a couple sketches at this point.
i would love to see all these commercial and making of's committed to a DVD with any other info available.. i love this stuff amazing when you think w/o RUclips or a similar video sharing site... something like this probably would be near impossible to come by
i saw the very first one on the dvd. But frankly that whole first episode of snl was so horrible - the one with george Carlin hosting - I never watched it again. But yeah, something about the monsters wife getting her period.
