The display then turns off after this time ? is than off..

Hi @yazzay9904 Employee ID can be edited when adding a new user, once the user is configured, the ID will not be able to be edited anymore.

For PIN number can only set via client like ivms4200 or HCP or HCAC under person module. Can't do locally on device.

Hi,
For a 3rd party NVR, we're not really sure if it would work. So to be safe, it's better to use a Hikvision NVR.

Hi Neo,
We will reply to both your questions here.
First, please make sure that the device is connected to the same network as your PC. You can use the SADP tool (download from Hikvision website) to detect the Hikvision devices first. When you are able to detect it, it will show the device IP address and model. Then you can add it to the IVMS4200.
