      Even at shows you still need to shop around but there's definitely better deals at the shows

      Keep in mind shipping. Don't have to pay shipping costs at shows if you drive there.

      That all depends, as Shawn says you have to shop around.
      I'd add something else though, don't neglect your local hobby shop if you have one! They need the business too you know. Shows are great but don't be show-centric to the exclusion of everything else.
