Adi Arbiv I was a ballerina for a while but then I quit. But thanks anyway! I do wish I hadn’t had quit but oh well I’m too old to start up again anyway
types of people in the dance class that i’ve noticed: 1. the teacher’s favourite 2. the one with so much natural talent but so lazy and too lazy to do anything (+ doesn’t really want to be there) 3. the flexible one but flexibility is the only thing she’s good at in a dance class 4. the one that was brought by her friend and is there only for her 5. the quiet one with hidden talent 6. the one that doesn’t get any combinations and struggles with remembering choreos 7. the emotional one ofc - can u relate to any of them? hope so ahha
I'm the over emotional one, I literally get so sad when everyone is doing turns and I can only do one pirouette. Especially if you have no friends in class. Sometimes you just get so frustrated that you tear up.
Alyssa _16 I can get like that where I get so frustrated and overwhelmed, I tear up! That happened to me in contemporary last year where I teared up as I was having such a hard time with it!
This is way too relatable lol. Literally 3 new people have come to my studio over the past 2 months who are all between the ages of 13 and 15 (I'm 13 btw) who are literally so much better than me. 😭
There's a girl in my class that doesn't really like being there, doesn't wear pointe shoes just bc she doesn't want to (except for recital although she doesn't rehearse en pointe either), is lazy af but she's an INCREDIBLE spinner. That's why she's teacher's pet even though she doesn't wear pointe shoes lol

That’s meee!! I started really late and moved up a class early and had no clue what I was doing(still don’t and I’m going into one of the highest classes other than the company this year lol)

I have a girl who’s the emotional one in class yikes... she’s so good but isn’t progressing any because whenever she makes a slight mistake she starts crying and doesn’t try for the rest of class. Last year, I was put into one of the highest skilled classes in my dance group; And every time I went to class, I felt like an outsider.
