When my son was first trying to ride a bike, his grandfather had put the bike together. The forks were on backwards and I told him that but neither of them believed me. So as my son was going down a small hill, he ran into a parked car and lowen be hold the front tire fell off. So after i fixed it my son was having trouble riding it, so put training wheels on, then he started yelling at me and he got really mad. All i could do was laugh. After a few days went by he started getting better. Now he is 48 years old.
Thats funny! Someone suggested to me to take the peddles off. It seemed to work well from smacking into his chins. I told him once he does, I will buy him a dirt bike. It brought back a lot of memories of when my kids were little. His mom (my daughter) is 22. Man how time flies.
Kids & bloody bikes 😂😂😂. our youngest son, now coming up to 39, inherented the 1st bike from our eldest and our daughter after she graduated up a few sizes. He wasn’t 3 when he started and in a few days was screaming at us to take the training wheels off so he could keep up with the bigger kids on their big bikes. Problem was, he was dangerous, everywhere he went it was flat out.. Anyway, to keep him under the sound barrier, after a few months After his 3rd birthday I made a deal with him, 1 trainer off and the other one would come off on his 4th birthday. He was a bloody terror on it and got a neighbourhood nick of Hell’s Cherub. He’d chase the postie from one end of our street to the other and Fromm time to time we’d have to go find him 😂😂😂. Funny thing is that none of the 4 grandkids living with us have no interest whatsoever in riding their bikes, not even for reward, drives me nuts. Hopefully Colton turns out a little terror as well, great to watch mate. Thank for posting. 👋👋👋👋
It's good hearing from you buddy! Colton is a wild man when it comes to going fast. He's always asking to go fast, do a wheelie or "race nana". If he's anything like his grandfather, we are going to have our hands full! I hope everyone is doing good!
Way to go, Colton!!! Wow!!! Good Job!!!
Looks like I have to keep my end of the bargain now Jim. The deal was, once he learns to ride a 2-wheeler I would buy him a dirt bike.
Sure do!!! I see some shopping trips in your near future!
That was worth a million bucks! Way go Colton 😅
Proud moment for sure Scott!
The kid will remember this for the rest of his life I remember when my dad taught me how to ride a bike now I ride bikes every day
It's a memorable day for sure and a super proud moment for sure 😁
