About Yacht Club, that is a often misunderstood thing. You do not need to cruise often with them, it’s rooms you can book at your fist cruise with all benefits. It’s separate from loyalty status. Much more expensive, but you get a lot in return too (we did it once).
You’re correct I even hear you get a butler if you pay for the yacht club. This was our first time on an MSC cruise. When doing the tour I wasn’t too sure, and had to take a guess on what it was.
@@TooMuchLuggage A butler is the word they use, but a bit misleading. It's not as extreme as some other really high end lines do, or (I believe) Royal Caribian with their highest suites. It's not a personal butler or something. What you do get (info for others who are curious): - A dedicated restaurant. Better food and menu, any-time dining, more space between the tables, etc. - Dedicated bar, with seating to spare. I believe every YC guest could have a seat there at the same time.. thus always room to spare. - Dedicated sound-deck, with better beds and enough space so you don't need to towel-claim a spot :). - Concierge service; need anything taken care of? Ask the reception and they will. No spot at the theatre left? Surely there is if you ask them... want personalised excursions? They will make them. etc. - Want to be escorted somewhere quicker? The butler does so. Same with priority (de-)boarding in town, or skipping the line with a pasport-checkpoint, etc. - Free room service, free minibar. - All general add-ons you normally pay seperate for now included. Highest drink package, sauna access, wifi, etc. Note: where I say 'free' it's just you pre-paied for it as YC cabins are about 2.5 or 3x more expensive. You can get a good deal on inside YC cabins sometimes, as less people want them. Is it worth it? If you can afford it and don't have to save for years, yes. If you want to cruise more often instead, perhaps not. But the big benefit for us was that you have the entertainment and benefit of mass of a big ship, with the quite, relaxed closed of area of a small ship (200 people) in the YC.
Anyone can access Yacht Club areas 7:00 even if you're an MSC first-timer - you just have to pay extra, typically twice the standard cabin rate and higher if you get a large suite. Includes not only restricted areas you found, but also includes a drinks and wi-fi package plus your own butler.
@@TooMuchLuggage Okay, don't worry, I would like to know how the navigation was. I mean, if the sea was rough, you got seasick on the boat, you were scared since it is said that the North Sea gets very rough and makes the boats move a lot and I would like to know how your week was. since my husband and I are thinking of taking a cruise with that ship the week of October 6 of this year
@cuckylayka20 the week that we were there the weather was absolutely perfect no large storms at all that would make an average person seasick and just a little bit of rain. I just looked it up. We were there the last week of September 2023.
Did you like this ship tour?

Hello, what time was this cruise? How was the navigation? and the weather? I'm thinking of going there in October with the same boat.
It was either the last week of September or the first week of October I don’t remember
