Yes, Arran used to be a part of Argyle and Bute Council. Arran is my home Island and I would rather we were a part of Argyle and Bute again, rather than being under North Ayrshire council. It makes me feel like Arran is pretty much just an extension of the mainland!

I've been obsessed with your videos ever since discovering your channel a few weeks ago so it was lovely to see you cover a place I know very well! I often go on trips to Islay and have to drive through Argyll to reach the ferry - it's such a beautiful part of Scotland with plenty of mountains and lochs to enjoy. And you're right about Scottish beaches not being ideal for sunbathing, but The Strand on Islay is a great spot for a refreshing, breezy walk 😅💖

I absolutely love your RUclips channel and I just love the scenery in Scotland, so this video has absolutely made my week 😊
The Isle of Mull in Argyll and Bute is some place to visit.

From the Isle of Arran, great to see the island mentioned briefly lol, Arran is apart of North Ayrshire now, Arran has a rich history and was inhabited by the Vikings at one point and the village names still have ties to the Norse names

I kept wandering over there on Google Earth when I was researching and found lots of cool stuff! Can't wait to talk about it someday!

I love your videos - the mix of geography and asmr is great.
Just an FYI - Dalriada is pronounced Doll-ree-ah-dah. But Gaelic is tough for a non speaker I know!

Rothesay was where I spent my childhood summer holidays. It's where my parents took us every year or so it seemed. Now and again we went to other places. I don't know if you want to visit Scotland but if you do then I hope you make it one day. Your slide show showed Puffins but I couldn't make out what you called them it sounded like pork?
