Everything you testified about in your song was exactly what I lived for almost 32yrs of my life. I can tell you with joy in my heart that I am loved just the way I am! I never thought I could be myself had wanted to be anybody else but me. Two days ago I was going through some old things and came across pictures of me when I was thin and it's sent me into a relapse. Was just listening to DNA by Apollo as I just started a work out that was going to spiral and this song was recommended next. Sobbing now, but praise God for the reminder that I don't need to continue a relapse and I don't need to look like I used to.

But God did make each of us for His purpose, and we all have a unique place in that, whatever it is. It's not always enough just to be grateful to be alive. Sometimes you're not, really. Sometimes you're just tired and broken, and you need to know there's more in store that you can't see yet. Sometimes we need a reason to keep living, beyond the consequences of not doing that. That's why this message (which is from Scripture) is so uplifting. God gave us this promise for a very good reason.
