But logitech have gone one step further by specially adapting this mouse to work effortlessly with the latest apple devices from iMacs to iPads, not just technically speaking but also aesthetically too, fitting in nicely with the overall clean, minimal look. Great video. I prefer the Logi Anywhere 3 as it’s a smaller mouse with a mag scroll mouse.

    Idk if Master MX Master 3S for Mac can use for Window? I read the docs in Logitech and they say it only support for MacOS, iPadOS and iOS

    I got the issue that configuring the back/forward buttons as "Copy" and "Paste", that it actually does "Ctrl + C", which doesn't mean anything on macOS... And i can't configure a keyboard shortcut (i.e. "Cmd + C") neither, it only registers the "Cmd". Suggestions anyone? I'm on latest macOS and Logi Options+.

    I have been lusting over the MX Master for quite awhile based on looks and what it is supposed to be capable of. I finally got my hands on one and I have to say, my M720 Triathlon is just as comfortable and the button layout is a lot more functional. The scroll wheel on the M720, like most other Logitech mice, is designed to allow forward and backward clicks with your finger. The MX Master scroll wheel eliminates these options and, instead, replaces them with a thumb wheel that is a lot more cumbersome to get to.
    I have found the M720 Triathlon button layout to be just as similar, but, more functional. The mouse itself if large and just as comfortable as the MX Master, but, it is about $70 cheaper. Save your money and get a better mouse. Yes, the MX Master is a decent mouse, but, I am not finding it to be much better than the cheaper alternatives.

      What’s the difference between the triathlon pro and just triathlon for the m720?
      Also is the m720 good for video editing?

    • @jasons57
      @jasons57 8 месяцев назад

      You have probably already purchased a mouse for video editing. I don't know a difference between the Triathlon and the Triathlon Pro, I assume mine is the normal Triathlon and I have been editing with it daily for two years with no issues. Sorry it took so long for me to see this, my reply is probably no longer relevant!@@ThePistonPit

    Interesting. But unfortunately how bad the Logioptions software works on a mac is never mentioned here. Sometimes it works a bit. But most of the time there is no way of using it to configure the Logitech keyboard I have. The software hangs, acts weirdly or just refuses to do anything. And the second thing I noticed in the video: Why does horizonal scrolling have be on a different controller? Why isn't there one central tool like on the Apple mouse to move all axes?

    • @BoxCoUk
      @BoxCoUk  Год назад +1

      I'm sorry to hear the Logi Options software doesn't work that well in the long term. It did work perfectly fine while I was making the video. I did have the Logi Options Plus though, not sure if that makes a difference. I think the mouse design doesn't differ from the PC variant of the Master 3S, it just has a different side scroll option

      @@ekasism I'm having a lot of accuracy issues. If you are you just using it to browse the Internet. It's one thing. If you're doing any type of a design where you need extreme accuracy, It doesn't really work well on Mac.

    Hello. I would like to know if the regular MX Master (not the one for mac) does work perfectly with Macbook Air M3? along with the app and all the settings by using the bluetooth please?
    Same if I use the dongle on mac please?
    Thanks a lot

    Would this mouse be good to use for MacBook Pro, iPad Pro AND (!) a Windows laptop? Thing is: my private tablet and laptop are both Apple, but at work we use Windows. So it would be nice if I could use the mouse for all three.

    • @BoxCoUk
      @BoxCoUk  Год назад +1

      Yes! It should work fine with both Windows and Mac. The only difference the Mac variant has compared to the Windows one is the lack of Logibolt receiver and the overall colouring. It's the best thing about Logitech devices, they are always designed to work well with a multitude of operating systems 😊😊

    Great review, thanks! I’m about to buy the mouse for my macbook pro 16 m1 pro but I’ve read quite a few negative reviews on reddit, complaining about lags and stuttering of the cursor on mac. Have you experienced it?

    • @jasons57
      @jasons57 Год назад

      I just got the MX Master and it works fine on my MacBook Pro 13 M1, however, I haven't found anything this mouse does better than the M720 Triathlon. The M720 actually seems to work better for me as the buttons on the Master are a lot harder to access, and my hands are fairly large. The M720 is just as comfortable, has super smooth point/scroll using a Bluetooth connection, and a much more useful button layout.
      I think you owe it to yourself to try the M720. I am taking my Master back tomorrow and sticking with the cheaper mouse. The good thing is, both of these can be returned if you don't like them.

      I had that issue but I fixed it. I downloaded the software MOS and it fixed the scrolling issue. The mouse now scrolls smoothly. This is a common issue with non apple mouses.

      Hi! It works with both Bluetooth and the Logi Bolt receiver but the receiver doesn't come with it in the box, it needs to be purchased separately.

    The MX 2S version stutters terribly when using the wireless bolt on a MacStudio M1 Ultra. So do your homework first and don’t just rely on reviews like this!

    Honestly, this mouse sucks on Mac. Scroll wheel is not smooth at all. Tracking isn't super tight either. Really not sure why this gets such high reviews as far as Mac is concerned.
