As a Cape Townian i remember beautiful days in the City,it was a true paradise and very safe, now the beggers get yoi everywhere in the Gardens,Restaurants outside,on the pavements with stalls everywhere and the traffic it's a nightmare,at night you can just forget about going to a show or club because it's simply not safe anymore, even in the Waterfront when you sit down and start eating your food the beggers beg the food out of your plate, the historic building's are crumbling and the museums are in disrepair and many of the original pieces are just gone and not replaced, the Castle of Good Hope are a squatters camp outside and along the bridges, gone are the beautiful lawns and flowers, atleast whe have the memories and historic photos 😢

It's wild how quick you'd leave the city then. From these pictures it feels like it petered out after Paarden Eiland.
