So much cuteness and nostalgia at Ghibli park. The little details really make it. The “this is the wrong train” with the music change made me chuckle. Glad you could navigate the mishap and still make it to your hotel.

I didn’t grow up with the films like Venessa, so I’m glad we watched the corresponding films so that I could have a reference for the visit. But the details were out of this world. LOL. As fans of The Amazing Race, I had to put the sound effect in for the mess up. 😄 But we too are glad that we had the technology to correct course when we needed too. Thanks for
      watching. -Chad

See, now, I was waiting on the USJ video, Katie was waiting on this one 😜 Better to see the train sitting there than pulling away! Glad to see that the Japanese also have to put up with trying to assemble IKEA shelving; I’m not alone in my suffering. Goat park worldwide! 😍 Love the attention to detail at this park. Katie would die to get a photo at the bartop with Totoro and _inside_ of the full scale Catbus. I think Venessa knows that I myself am not a Miyazaki fan, but I can always appreciate a park with great theming…and they really went above and beyond here. Game recognizes game 👏🏻 Also the second I saw Mei’s hat, my mind went immediately to the reaction gif of her lying face down in the puddle. My go-to response gif for 9/10 scenarios 👀 Love the little tram, too. Chad is getting really good at pulling together those musical cues in the edit…particularly the terror sting of getting on the wrong train! 😂 Don’t worry about the Old Testament, you don’t need to know about that to enjoy the New Testament - they recap it for you. 😜 Great video, y’all!

As I told Katie, I didn’t grow up watching the films. I had to watch the films before we left so that I could have an appreciation for what I was seeing. Yes, IKEA is big over there! There are evening small versions of the store in the cities. As for the sound effect, it had to be placed in. As fans of The Amazing Race, and just coming off watching the last season, I had to put that in there like they do on the show 🤣. Thanks for watching. -Chad 😀

Fun little park! Now here's an idea.. since Disney owns rights to the localized Studio Ghibli stuff why don't they build a Ghibli park at WDW to compete with Epic Universe and the other proposed Nintendo lands at the other Universal parks. It's their only IPs that could compete for that demographic. Just a thought.

As cool as it would be to see a Ghibli themed park in the states, as it stands right now Disney no longer has ties to Studio Ghibli. As of July 2017, GKIDS handles all the distribution of the Ghibli films outside of Japan. And really, I think that with the way Disney Parks and Resorts are right now, I think Studio Ghibli would be better off partnering with someone else or an independent to make a park here in the states. I think we would get a better product that way. Thanks for watching. -Chad 😀

@@TwoTicketsToAdventure Thanks for the info! Didn't realize there was no longer any affiliation between the two. Honestly, Disney's current IPs aren't so great when stacked against what Universal already has planned and what could be coming in the future. Disney's best course of action at this point would be to do some original Imagineering stuff, but we know that probably won't happen! But yeah maybe Oriental Land Co. should acquire rights to Ghibli and open a park in Orlando. Just seems like soon would be a good opportunity to capitalize on the game nerd demographic which will be flocking to Orlando after next year..
