I was a fan of idols when they were first created in Korea 25 years ago. They were my best friends and one of the people I loved the most during my school days. I liked them so much for several years, but one day I started to feel disappointed in the fact that they were just idols and I couldn't get closer to them anymore. And as I entered college, fell in love, and started working, I gradually began to forget them. They also began to live individual lives as their prime passed. After a long time, I played their videos in the attic, reminiscing about my school days. At that time, they were laughing in my room, just like before. The conclusion of this MV is that one day we will forget each other and live our own lives, but regardless of time, the moment you think of me again, we will be by your side in the same way. knowing this and watching the music video, you can understand why the main character is dreaming, why his friends have disappeared and he is left alone, why he is lonely and watching the video in his room, and why New Jeans suddenly entered the room. .

I barely remember high school (I was apparently bullied and gaslit by my peers nonstop according to friends that went to the same school as me but we didn’t really know each other before graduation) So yeah I was (and am) a proud nerd and an unapologetically myself type of person.. also I’m one year away from being a doctor and have met amazing lifelong friends and as much as I loved graduating high school I regret nothing and love who I am today😝 Love your videos btw🫶

While it seems the concept of lore in a music video is new- newjeans definitely has a fresh take to it- there are many OG groups that have lore, even manga alongside their music videos. When I first got into BTS like 8 years ago it was a whole rabbit hole and they were just getting started XD

The main character copes with loss and depression by characterizing these things to comfort her; the male represents reality in which she starts to once again become interested in. My favorite song by them by far. Something so ethereal about it.
As 2023 "Song of the Year", 'Ditto' has immortalized its impact and mark in music history. Ban Heesoo, the camcorder girl in the video, has her own RUclips channel filled with all the footages she shot; it's all official and part of the lore. Personally hated high school. Enjoyed learning and had a good relationship with the teachers, had my group of friends, but we weren’t “cool” so does that help. Nope. Most girls in my year were horrible and I normally took in the girls that had no one so yeah. It was miserable and I suffered with shyness so alot of the public stuff gave me tons of anxiety. Glad to never go back
