Quantum mechanics is a fundamental theory in physics that describes the behavior of matter and energy at very small scales, such as atoms and subatomic particles. It provides a mathematical framework for understanding the behavior of particles, waves, and systems at the quantum level. Here's a simplified explanation of some key concepts in quantum mechanics: Wave-particle duality: One of the central ideas in quantum mechanics is that particles like electrons and photons exhibit both particle-like and wave-like behavior. This means that they can behave as discrete particles with well-defined positions and momenta, as well as waves with properties like frequency and wavelength. Quantization: Certain properties of particles, such as energy, angular momentum, and position, are quantized in quantum mechanics. This means that these properties can only take on certain discrete values rather than being continuous. Probability and uncertainty: Quantum mechanics introduces the concept of inherent uncertainty into the description of particles and systems. According to Heisenberg's uncertainty principle, it is impossible to simultaneously know the exact position and momentum of a particle with arbitrary precision. Instead, we can only determine the probability of finding a particle in a certain position with a certain momentum. Wavefunction: In quantum mechanics, the state of a particle or system is described by a mathematical function called the wavefunction. The wavefunction contains all the information about the particle's properties, including its position, momentum, and energy. The square of the wavefunction gives the probability density of finding the particle in a particular state. Quantum superposition: One of the most intriguing aspects of quantum mechanics is the principle of superposition. This means that a particle can exist in multiple states simultaneously until it is observed or measured. For example, an electron can be in a superposition of spin-up and spin-down states until it is measured, at which point it collapses into one of the possible states. Quantum entanglement: Quantum mechanics also predicts the phenomenon of entanglement, where the properties of two or more particles become correlated in such a way that the state of one particle instantaneously influences the state of the other, regardless of the distance between them. These are just a few of the key principles of quantum mechanics, and the theory is incredibly rich and complex. Quantum mechanics has led to many groundbreaking discoveries and technological advancements, including the development of quantum computing, quantum cryptography, and advances in understanding the behavior of materials at the atomic and subatomic level.
That unique feeling when watching a 'For All Kerbalkind' episode. Those amazing visuals combined with gaining knowledge and excitement for space exploration. No one does it like you! Thanks to the three of you, I love you!
The more i watch Carnasa take part in this series the more i wonder if there would ever be any conflicts in space, intentional sabotage of an american space station as an example.
Britain taking the ESA route on board Ariane was pretty much ride over for the Australian launch complexes IRL. Thanks for pushing the dream a little further fellas.
my persistent rotation is doing this to me too. I’ll spin stabilize something, time warp, and when i’m done it’s spinning way faster. It happens every time you time warp too so if i time warp 3-4 times it will be spinning faster than spin launches facility
It sort of looks like you’re encountering the bug where the ground fades away in the upper atmosphere. Entering and exiting the map view fixes that for the remainder of the flight!
Debateable in that respect. Both major powers have been doing multiple interplanetary missions already. Hell, the soviets have attempted a manned venus fly by. ESA is not yet capable of any manned flight. nor does ESA have any sort of space plane/space shuttle in development, and their rocket plane program seems to have petered out far faster than the major powers.
This collaboration with N9 is actually not historically inacurrate as the first ESRO satellite was launched on an american Scout, and others with Deltas, pretty neat!
Lol with the fish and chips ;~) On a side note, when you were talking about not understanding why you were short in burn for the impacter. I just seen that bit and when you launch the smaller craft off the top would the exhaust of your little craft not have an impact on the speed of the impactor it launched from thereby accounting for the difference in your calculations and actual performance?
Kanada was Instrumental in developing the hydrolox technology required for the Black X II series of rockets :p I mean I am playing as the commonwealth/esa because Europe/Britain clearly wasn’t already enough
@@Carnasa A universe in which Britain actually took the lead and developed its aerospace industry and turned into a world class space faring nation. Truly a dream come true!
The game "rounds up" the mass of certain parts, which leads to mechjeb calculating your delta V differently from how the game's physics calculates burns. Using very small procedural solar panels is the most common culprit. I'm pretty sure that's why the lunar impactor failed: you don't usually use solar panels on those.
Im not sure if you take name suggestions, but maybe instead of black duke ii,the upgraded rocket could be called the black earl or back count. Also hope the mars mission goes better than pyramus V and VI.
Allow me to give the full quote then. See if ya recognize it. I AM GOING TO THE ONE PLACE NOT YET CORRUPTED BY CAPITALISIM. ... long pause. SPACE! Command and conquer red alert 3, one of the russian commanders who betrays you, after they traveled back in time and killed einstien.

Cant wait to see a Hermes shuttle get lunched to dock with space station columbia 🦅🇪🇺
TWO WEEKS IN A ROW WE GET FAK NOTHING CAN TOP THIS
Should be the case from now on for all weekends :p beardys next episode should be out next week!
@Carnasa ayyy we win these!
I love the little C&C Red Alert Reference at 0:42

If someone decides to take out a FISH or CHIPS satellite, they could launch a Fragmentation Of Rapidly Kineticized object, or FORK. (thanks CoPilot)

How does this man juggle two series?!
Luv ur vids ♥
With great difficulty and occasional month long gaps between episodes 😅
33 hours left I’m excited

CARNASA YOU CANNOT DO THIS TO US 😂😂😂 20:07
"The British are going to be swarming space with FISH and CHIPS." - Carnasa
being blessed with almost an hour and a half of carnasa content this weekend is insane
Previous two videos on the FAK playlist: Beardy and N9 trying to start WW3. This video's title: International Collaboration.
cant wait for fish and chips in space
I love your content Carnasa! You got me into RSS!

Fish & Chips… i dies😂😂😂😂😂
Is the fish sat network going to be called a school of fish?
And a cone of chips?
3:06 - I'm gonna take a wild guess that there's gonna be a "FISH" for fish & chips
*Ding!*
congrats! Order some fish and chips to celebrate
Hell yeah!
Can't wait
"the era of international collaboration" well guess the superpowers have something to say about peace in space
Man I love your triple-take fairing separation shots!
What a nice episode, congrats Carnasa, FAK totally is back in track!
It sort of looks like you’re encountering the bug where the ground fades away in the upper atmosphere. Entering and exiting the map view fixes that for the remainder of the flight!
For all Kerbalkind dropped!
I look forward to the mangled backronym that makes FISH and CHIPS work lmao
Will the second generation be SALT and VINEGAR, then?
From being behind technologically to being too far ahead of the US and USSR 😂👏

"New heights" I see what you did there.
I just got RSS Reborn and it's AMAZING!
really nice music

Failing to soft-land on the Moon is all the fashion right now.
amazing video as always!
H'WAT!?!??! Who authorized you to put a Canadian flag on your rocket!?

The rocks seen on the lunar surface, is that Parallax with RO configs? Something else? Would love terrain features in my RO save...
love it mate
wake up to a new video mate thanks
and have you got that Arse stick for your rockets mate
CHIPS is a cool name but when i hear it i just think of the Cosmic Hot Interstellar Plasma Spectrometer.

Can you make more episodes of the Space engineers series?
How did you get the smoke effect on the black duke? It looks great!
YEAH!!!
im escaping to the one place not corrupted by capitalism....
Yeeeesh! FISH and CHIPS!
I wish I knew how to play RP1
what does a navigation system do in this game? or is it just for tje contract
Fish and chips eh... just what someone pretending to be British would do...
I'm on to you.
Europa Invicta
Yippee
What is the name of the program you use?
Kerbal space program modded with realistic progression 1
Don't talk about zercon sats 😂
Shame that your first CHiPS launch was a bit of a potato :P
