1898年、ベルギーで創業し、ロールスロイスやベントレーなどの数々の高級車をコーチビルドした名門「ヴァンデンプラ」社　が製作したプリンセスはADO16を基本としたバッジエンジニアリングシリーズの最上級モデルであり、ベビーロールスと呼ばれている。
コンパクトサイズながらショファードリブン（運転手付き）の仕様で、アン皇女も乗っていた、プリンセスの名に恥じない高級車であり、当時の販売価格もミニの3倍もしていた。
ピニンファリーナが担当したボディデザインは高級感あるメッキのグリルやドアハンドルが使わている。
内装にはカーペットを敷き詰め、さらに贅沢なウォールナッツをふんだんに使用、肘掛を供えた本革シート、リアシートにはピクニックテーブルまで装備されている。
