I can't quite express how grateful I am to this song. It kinda introduced me to music. I mean, before hearing this, I only knew songs that played on the radio. So, one day I was on pinterest when I came across a random post with this song, I went to check it and it immediately became my favorite song. I really became hooked on indie rock and just indie, well, stuff like this is, that's the genres closest to this. I listened to this kind of music for like two years after until I started slowly getting into more genres of alternative spectrum. It changed everything: the way I looked at world, the way I behaved, and it made me realize what I wanted. Well, not quite. But if it wasn't for this song, I wouldn't have ever ended up where I am now. I don't know how the events would have gone but, to tell the truth, I don't want to. I accidentally stumbled upon the best thing ever and I love it that way.
this is amazing! To me this song is so good in so many ways (personally one of my favourites) and the album a gem so yes, you came across an incredible song, good for you that you got to discover new music through it!
honestly i don't think i've felt truly happy in at least four years... i mean i've felt happy being with certain people and doing certain things and i have a good life and i'm not unhappy with what i'm doing but i don't feel happy and i don't know if that's just in my head and that's as good as it gets but i feel like it's not. how sad is feeling like that with no particular reason?

Chronic depression is one hell of a disorder.
I've been feeling the same way. I think the heart of it is just discontent...but yeah, it sucks.
