hi, thank you for the video, it was very helpful. You did a great job. Thank you for posting. That is just how I would like to build my greenhouse. Thank you.
Put your own kit together. We're finishing ours right now and it cost about a third. Search all the construction companies near you that might have a 'yard'. Google street is a good help. Someone will have a roll of pipe just laying around. Ours is made from high density blue water pipe, 90mm. It's still on a google street photo, laying in a pile of junk. Cost us £40. Plastic around £750. Extra tough posts, abut £130. Other bits adding to 2 or 3 hundred £. Still a fraction of the price.
Dont use blue or red pipe. It is designed for underground use and not uv stabilised. It will eventually go white, harden and possibly even break.@psisky
Is that polycarbonate sheet 1 sheet all the way across? How thick is the sheet? If its got no holes on the top of sheets how is that heat in the summer inside the sheet get out? Wont it deteriorate sheet ? Nice job tho
Thanks. I didn't have any building experience prior to constructing the polycrub, but I have plenty of DIY experience which helped. I think any building contractor could assemble the polycrub for you.
Hi I'm not sure as the temperates where I am have only got to -3 deg C. You could take a look at the polycrub website - www.polycrub.co.uk and send them a message.
I´m planing my shopping list, but I don´t know what diameter ot those pipes is. Can you tell me a measurements, please? Thank You :) In the shops isn´t size polycrop what I want so we´ll made it ourselfe. Looks amazing, I can´t wait to have it :)
Hi, yes this is a kit. See www.polycrub.co.uk. There are lots of different kits/options. This is the first winter with my polycrub. I'm currently growing plenty of veg at the moment and it's been a max of 6 degrees during the day and minus during the night - those temps are outside temps. Not sure what the temp was inside.
Thank you for sharing this. I just got the Peerie delivered and the ground works is the first phase. I hear getting the sheets aligned are the hardest task - did you have any issues? Great to see the delivery - I had same situation -the delivery guy (from Patersons) was great. Clearly yours turned out really good - well done!!
Hey, thanks for your comment :o) Yeah the sheets were a bit of a pain to fit. We used plastic 'car trim removal tools' and a spray bottle with dilute fairy liquid to help slide the panels into the 'H' section joining strips. Hopefully it will be easier on yours as it is smaller and the panels won't be as difficult to wrestle/push into position. It took 2 of us to do it both up separate ladders. One of us located the edge of the panel while the other pushed from the other edge of the panel to locate everything. We started at one side/end of the panel and worked up and over the top and down to the other side. Have fun building yours and I hope this video has been of help.

Thanks for your kind words :) Have fun building your greenhouse!
Nice! I’m saving up for a polycrub and can’t wait to get one!
I don't regret buying it one bit - a worthwhile investment.
@@polycrubdiaries8969 love your blogs about it!

BTW I like how you made the door - with the shiplap offcuts I guess?? - especially the top and bottom rain run off - Really nice!!
Thanks :) Yes it's off cuts of the shiplap. How you getting on with your build?
Lovely!
Thanks 🙏
Great video thanks. Can you recall the hoop lengths of the individual 90mm HDpipes please?
No idea! it's been years since i built it.
Hi its really very nice video. Could you tell me please how much total cost.
Put your own kit together. We're finishing ours right now and it cost about a third. Search all the construction companies near you that might have a 'yard'. Google street is a good help. Hey, thanks for your comment. I can't remember the exact cost. But it did cost a lot for delivery.
Dont use blue or red pipe. It is designed for underground use and not uv stabilised. It will eventually go white, harden and possibly even break.@psisky
Thank you for share this video, what size is it? And charge how much?
Hi mine is 6m x 4m. I bought it from www.polycrub.co.uk - prices are on the website.
If you don't mind me asking, how long are those polycarbonate sheets? I assume they are single pieces?
HI, dimensions of the wooden pieces?
what kind of tool are you using to cut the windows ?
BTW Great concise video.
Thanks. I used this tool www.powertoolworld.co.uk/milwaukee-m12-fmt-0-12v-fuel-multi-tool-body-only-inc-18x-accessories - to cut the panels.
@@polycrubdiaries8969 Thanks, lot of great tips in your video, I am going to use your rope - window limiter, fantastic innovation !

Yes one sheet across. The heat escapes thru the doors and windows. No these are high quality poly carbonate sheets.
nice video!! I enjoy watching it. Btw, do you have company can do the job like you did in this video in california?
Thanks. I didn't have any building experience prior to constructing the polycrub, but I have plenty of DIY experience which helped. I think any building contractor could assemble the polycrub for you.
👏👏👏👍👍🔥🔥
Looks great. How are the rails/buttons attached to the pipe? You run a bolt through the pipe?
Just screws.
How much did it cost
A lot- I can’t remember exactly but it’s well worth it.
Very good build may I ask what thickness the twin wall is?
Hi,
from memory its around 10mm thick.
Cost polycarbonate thickness, ? Would be a help. ,!
Hi, the costs can be found on the polycrub website. As for the thickness I'd estimate 10mm.
Hi what are theses sheets made from please
bit late but 10mm twin wall poly 1050mm x7000mm from varico
What are the hoops made with
Pipe recycled from the fishing industry.
Do you have a distributor in the USA?
Hi, probably best to check their website - www.polycrub.co.uk/ - thanks
Can this be used in (-20"C weather)?

Can’t measure just now. You need pipe that will fit over the wooden posts.
Ask lng po san po nakaka bili ng polytunnez
think they are 90mm used in the fishing industry, 100mm mdpe should also work.
@@fredrickelrik I think that's what we made ours with. Very stiff blue water pipe. Looks good.
Sorry about all the questions
Is this a kit ? If so how can we get one?
Do you grown in your green house all year round ?
What temperature does it hold during winter 🥶?

What thickness and length of pipe was he using

@@polycrubdiaries8969 Thank you for the tips !
is there any gaps when overlapping the sheets. can you explain how they are overlapped.
Nice work. Where did you get the black poly pipe ? Rough cost ?
I bought it as a kit from www.polycrub.co.uk
Prices are on the Polycrub website.
More of a slideshow than a vlog. At least you can turn the "music" off.
Forget the dumb music and explain what you are doing.
