Vanir's mask really did Kazuma dirty 😂 everyone thinks it's vanir 😂
While the mask does improve circulation, kazuma was actually the one who's actually doin all the work 😂
i assume the mask affects the personality of the user by a little bit, but in exchage it will clear the mind by literally improving circulation

the anime really tone down the fight, in the LN Kazuma actually froze Mitsurugi throat after forcing those water through his nose and mouth making him unable to breathe, and told the the girl to thaw the ice asap if they want to save him

Man it's been so long since I've read the LN, but I still remembered how iris is probably the best girl in the series bro like she's just so good (we're still missing 1 member tho...)

-Iris is STRONG really strong. Iris will have the opportunity to show her ability soon, but for context, during the time she visited Axel and went with Kazuma and gang to slay a wyvern if I remember correctly or was it a Griphon, sorry been a long time, she oneshot that creature thinking that is a low level monster - Kazuma and the gang couldn't tell the truth that she just actually killed a high level subjugation target like it was a level 1 slime. Iris being innocent and really do not know that much about monsters even thought that Kazuya and the gang just let her kill a low level beginner monster. Remember, Axel is supposed to be a newbie town so there shouldn't actually be powerful monsters at all there. Later though, Iris killed a dragon and got the title of Dragon Slayer.
-The next arc will be the KazumaXDarkness arc. It will involved a super hydra and the demon that is being kicked by the villain in this episode.
-The Mask Kazuya is wearing is unique. Vanir sells ordinary masks that is black and white like his, but he the black mask to Kazuma because it's part of his plan that is connected to the other demon on the next arc. Even the readers of the LN or WN, for most of them, have missed this fact. The Mask itself only encourages Kazuma's inner desire, not giving him any powers really. In this case the anime showed it much better since in the novels it wasn't much given an after thought. But, it did provide Kazuma the push needed to get a bit serious.
-In the novels, Kazuya's battle with Claire, Rain and Mitsurugi is far more fancy. First of all all 3 where already present and Chris literally didn't do anything but run. Kazuma disabled claire much faster, beat Mitsurugi with ease and destroyed Rain's staff using his bow and arrow before Rain can even cast her offensive spell - and Kazuma was doing all of this while running in full speed and making the castle soldiers look like idiots. Claire was so impressed with Kazuma's thief persona that she thought it's such a pity that he (Kazuma in thief disguise) was a thief and would rather hire him as a knight since she and Rain think that the Black Masked thief is a Hero Class in terms of power.
-Lastly, in the novel, Iris already knew that Kazuma was under the black mask when he entered her room. She didn't even resisted not like on this anime. Only she and Darkness knew that the Black Masked Thief is Kazuya and she knew by instinct that Kaxuya is doing all of that for her own good.
BONUS: Kazuya will BEAT the Demon King on a 1v1. It's a David vs. Goliath battle.

Now people know the reason why kazuma will end up with darkness after defeating the demon king. Kazuma choose darkness cuz that's the only option of all the princesses in line that he knows and in his age. The ring makes a commoners able to marry nobles

Also the ring is strictly related to Iris, Darkness has no reason to be included, doesn't matter though cuz he's not getting with either of them.
